Chaos reigned as Mia, still transformed into her majestic wolf form, attacked her children with overwhelming fury. Every blow, every growl, echoed like thunder in the middle of the night. Paulo and Pedro, the twins who moments ago had tried to pronounce their rejection, were now under the furious onslaught of their own mother, who was determined to force her children to see reason.

The tension was palpable, and my heart pounded in my chest. I prayed that Eskaal's declaration would be enough to deter any further aggression. ******START OF FLASHBACK****** I was only young when I was playing in the gardens of the Coven and there was my parents bringing out some food and drinks as it was a beautiful sunny day, all of a sudden there was a massive clash between the Coven and the Wolves, my parents did everything they could to protect me. There was a beautiful Black Wolf who had Red Eyes who was known as ‘The Mad Alpha’, whenever he was in attack mode his eyes would be like blood red he turned vicious and I couldn’t believe my eyes, I could feel something inside of me screaming for my mum but no words came out.

I said again, holding onto his wrists. “I’m going to kill you!” Bren shouted. He pulled out a knife. Again. Before he could bring it down— A huge dark shape rushed past us. A wolf. A very big wolf. I didn’t see where it came from. One moment Bren was above me screaming, the next moment the wolf slammed him off me and threw him across the dirt. Bren rolled, cried out, and scrambled back. The wolf growled loudly. Its fur stood up. Its eyes glowed.

Mirabel: 10 years ago I frantically screamed out for help as the big grey and brown Wolf slowly and deliberately crept towards me, eyes menacing and snarl-biting and Cold. Oh no, oh no. My ankles hurt like fuck. I don't think I can go anymore. My ears perks up at the sound of footsteps, I look up to see a very big black wolf approaching me. I never knew wolves could be this big, it's almost my height. No it's much more bigger. Or maybe am losing my mind.
