"Come out and play!" A low, guttural growl resonated from deep within Lacey's chest. "Young warriors, man your posts! And no matter what you see outside, only open this door to me. Understood?" Even though Lacey knew that she shouldn't leave her post, even to step right outside, the Big Bad Wolf was at the door, threatening her pack and her cubs, and she couldn't stand idly by and let her get away with it. The two stare each other down, looking for an opportunity to strike. Mom rushes in from the side, as she grabs the neck of the wolf that was attacking her. As I watch, the lead wolf sneaks up behind my mom. Just as Mom snaps the neck of the wolf she is holding, the lead wolf pounces on her. It grasps her throat in its jaws and bites down. Hard. The resulting crack echos as my mom’s limp body falls to the ground.

He repeated, his voice louder than ever, and in that moment, the sickening crack of bones filled my ears. Shawn couldn’t believe his eyes, his mission to take my power momentarily displaced as he stared at James turn into the biggest wolf i had ever seen. “Fuck.” Shawn hissed, and began to pull me off the bed, in an attempt to escape James, but James was unescapable. His loud growl echoed through the room and I came face to face with the biggest and blackest wolf ever. It pawed towards Shawn, his eyes filled with brimming anger, and I could see Shawn visibly shiver.

I look up to a white ceiling, then the face of an angry wolf comes to view and I spring up, managing to sit upright. I’m surrounded. At least eight Werewolves that I’ve never seen before gather around me, Snarling, baring their claws and fangs. My heart thumps in my chest. I never thought my finally moments would be so cold blooded. My mind goes to my parents and I wonder if this was how their final moments had been. If they had been surrounded by angry enemies, pounced on and torn to shreds. I wonder if they were tortured or killed outright. I swallow the fear lumping in my throat.

My wolf looked at the witch, staring deep into her eyes feeling dominant whist Simba waited for backup. A swarm of wolves came out from the packhouse and waited behind me, ready for some action.
