, I fell asleep, but I soon woke up to a strange sound. It was a series of rhythmic knocking, as if someone was tapping against a table with their finger. I listened closely. It sounded like it was coming from within the wall. It was really rhythmic too. Knock. Knock knock. Knock. Knock knock. Was it some kind of code? I got out of bed and put my ear against the wall to listen closely. The sound was indeed coming from inside the wall. But how could that be? Why would there be sounds coming from the wall?
