Endless love
He spread his hands in front of him, easing his discomfort.
"I'll make you something," he said, turning towards the medicine.
"This is killing me," James replied.
The pharmacist bent his head over some bottles at the bottom of the shelf.
"What about insomnia?" he asked, still with his back to Mr. Campbell.
"Insomnia?" James repeated in surprise, raising one eyebrow in a perplexed expression.
"Your wife has been very worried since your mother's death. She said she couldn't sleep. I told her that that medicine was very strong, it would bring down an elephant."
