The room fell silent as the girl glared at me. Rachel interrupted the awkward silence by suggesting a walk outside for some fresh air. I agreed and off we went. The rain has stopped and the sun had finally made an appearance. Birds were singing away in the trees and children were playing happily around us. I listened as Rachel explained the girl who was called Gina, had been an orphan from a pack that had been destroyed in a bad attack years ago. A deep, ancient growl echoed from the void. Selene and Nyra froze, swords lowered. Selene’s eyes narrowed. “No… this can’t be.” Nyra steadied her breath. “The prophecy... ” she whispered; “Mother of Ruin… Daughter of Flame… The sky cracks…” From the breach descended something beyond magic, an ancient presence, older than gods. A colossal form, coalescing from storm clouds: a dragon wrought of lightning and shadow, wings spanning the horizon. Its eyes glowed molten white; its roar shook the very foundations.

Free falling from the sky, I couldn’t stop screaming. My arms flailed around as if trying to grab onto something, even if there was nothing to grab. Above me was a Dragon, galactic in size. He had to be as massive as a mountain. I had to admit that the Dragon was alluringly breathtaking. Luminous metallic purple scales cascaded over its entire form. Its wings arched slightly as they span across the sky. Its head turned down as it looked at me, with large radiant indigo eyes. When it redirected and started flying toward me, I stopped screaming and simply stared at the magnificent beast.

Those eyes burned like an unquenchable flame, testing her patience and scrutinizing her every move. Dragon sat beside his wife, Olivia, who exuded confidence and satisfaction as she spoke to him in a calm tone. His sleek black hair and sharp gaze made him resemble a meticulously crafted statue. Yet, what truly set Dragon apart was the commanding aura that surrounded him—a power that demanded either respect or fear. Jenny, on the other hand, wore a simple dress that highlighted her natural beauty, her wavy hair and green eyes giving her a captivating, understated charm.
