Suddenly, Adrian realized that these individuals indeed harbored ulterior motives. Adrian expanded his awareness, and the sight before him left him speechless. The entire hall was now teeming with an array of ghosts and monsters. Among them were towering old men with only one eye, lanterns swaying on a single leg, malformed boys with just one limb each, women clad in white exuding a bone-chilling aura, and skeletal figures draped in human skin...

The chilling atmosphere seemed to beckon me, tempting me with the scent of impending death. The desire to squeeze the life out of someone coursed through my veins. I longed to witness the light fading from my traitor's eyes, reducing them to nothing more than a lifeless body. The monster within me raged, yearning to be set free. It had been contained for far too long, and the time for its release had come. And so, I unleashed it. As I approached the door, Leon and Milandro came into view. With an intense surge of force, I flung the black wooden door open, causing it to collide harshly against the wall.

It wasn't kind. It was necessity. I was a shield. A bargaining chip. A means to an end. Her face has gone pale, that whitish pallor that reminds me of the corpse I’ve seen. She doesn’t bat a lash, just remains still while she stares absently at me.

“The room was enveloped in darkness, there was a sound of droplets hitting the ground, the room smelled like a rotting corpse. There was a tapping on the door like someone was baning in morse code. The sound stopped when a large metal door opened a monster showed up. There was a pounding against the wall and one of the lights flickered on, the light brightened the room. But the people in the room were better off not knowing who put them there, the monster walked closer to the people chained and shackled against the wall. Beneath the carved warning, four crude tally marks stood out. After a moment's thought, I took the utility knife and carved another stroke into my skin. “Before more show up.” After what feels like forever, we enter a big chamber beneath the ruins. At its middle is a pedestal. Resting atop it is a sparkling silver stone…the Moon Stone. It hums with energy. As I walk forward, the ground rumbles again. This time, it’s not guardians. It’s something worse. From the shadows, a hideous monster rises. It’s at least ten feet tall, clothed in dark armor with flashing red fractures running through its breast. Horns twist from its skull-like head, and eyes burn like fire.

Silas said. The night was dark and foreboding as the full moon was rising up high in the sky, casting an eerie glow on the forest below. Silas knew what was coming. His body began to tense and he felt a primal rage building within him. Silas could feel the curse inside him stirring, like a beast awakening from its slumber. His body trembled with fear and anticipation, knowing that he would soon be consumed by the curse and transformed into a hideous monster.

"A vampire." I tried to call the attention of the woman but it seems that she doesn't hear me. The vampire slowly approaching them. I shout out of lungs but I feel like I am invisible to them.
