I wipe my tears and bite my lip harder to stop me from crying. And then I did something I shouldn't do. I pick up my phone and log into my I*******m account. Ever since the heartbreak, I didn't bother to unfollow Caleb and he unfollowed me the minute he told me I can't be a wife. I don't know why I still followed him, maybe I am trying to prove a point I was more mature in our relationship. I click on Caleb's handle and his profile comes to view. I click on his recent picture with Regina. They were on a boat cruise in Miami, kissing, and the picture was uploaded two hours ago with a caption that reads ' most beautiful woman in my world, I love you so much.'

This is getting more interesting everyday. ****

“Lord Carrick, how fascinating for you to allow Warren to have an Egyptian boy as his manservant,” Abigail commented. Somehow she had overheard the idiot telling Fallon, and was now bringing it up in conversation. Fallon was immediately alert. The young man confounded her. Why did he have such an electrifying effect on her? Was it his exotic appearance? Or the way his eyes had bored into her soul, in the brief moment he’d looked at her? Whatever it was, she resolved to find out. There was never a mystery which did not appeal to the young Miss Rutherford.

The kind of guy I want wouldn’t like that. “What was I thinking?” I mutter, setting my laptop on the table as I stand. As usual, Della gets into my head, just like she wants to do. Just as I get up to make coffee, my computer dings. Someone has messaged me. Falling back into my chair, I realise a guy named David has messaged me. His profile shows a young, professional looking man who is admittedly attractive. He’s simply greeted me in his message, so I quickly type back. Soon enough, we are having a full blown conversation, and I swear at a few point, he made me smile.

Sienna suspired, folding her arms across her chest as she slumped back into the sofa. “I don’t think you realize, Sienna, that our friend, the one who had her heart broken years ago and has refused to even entertain the idea of dating anyone, has fucked a dangerous and, not to mention, incredibly fucking hot criminal. It’s exciting!” Disregarding the disgusting grimace plastered on Sienna’s face, Anja turned her full attention back to Zoe. “Come on, give me all the deets. How big was it?” “You’re actually disgusting, Anja,” Sienna snapped. “This whole conversation is gross. He kills people. Am I the only one who recognizes how fucked up this is?”
