Well no, she hated her home, not so much the country. The country had never wronged her. As far as she was aware, she’d lived a relatively blessed life, good friends, and a good neighborhood. She was treated relatively well, and on certain days she had the love of a man; biologically her father.

I smirked. “If you say God.” Takashi scoffed. “Nope. Scarier and a hell of a lot sexier. My wife, Yūri. She already wants you dead, and that was just a shot to my arm. You kill me, you are going to get your heads removed slowly and her Kitsune card shoved down your severed neck.” I smirked.

I stated as I unwrapped her sandwich and put it in her hands. She ate it without putting up a fight but sighed when she was almost finished. “I forgot to put ketchup on it. Its dry as crap.” I agreed, but it was better than eating nothing and I was a little hungry myself. As soon as she finished, she was out like a light. I shook her awake enough to drink a little water and I grabbed one of the manga she had packed. This one was titled "InuYasha” and I covered us both with a blanket as my love slept soundly. My thoughts went back to what the doctor warned us both about and I worried that Samantha had overexerted herself with training this morning. I stretched her out beside me with her head

he hissed, raising his club. I ducked and rolled, ignoring my own shudder at the whirling sound above my head. I sprang to a crouch and lunged forward, just like Burney had taught me and took his legs out from under him. He tried to raise his arm again, but I latched onto it, raking my nails down his skin. He let out a surprised grunt, his winded reflexes sending his pole rolling out of his reach.

She kept smiling at me. "My name is Iñari. Iñari Okami. Some would call me the fox goddess, but I'm just a female fox you know?" She stirred the content of her mug as she spoke casually as if she didn't just tell me she's some Japanese deity. Something I've always thought to be a myth. "Are... you.." I wanted to ask before she spoke again. "Yes yes..I'm real. Ugh! I get that all the time." She waved dismissively.

Yumi smiled as she slowly walked toward Wilbur. Wilbur frowned when he saw her walking closer, "Stand there. I don't want to attack a woman. If you play any tricks, then don't blame me for being impolite." "Is that so?" Yumi continued her approach. "Then, what do you plan on doing to me?" Wilbur's face gradually darkened. At that moment, Yumi casually uttered a few words, "Ninja Art, Thousand Illusion Eyes." Suddenly, the space around Wilbur began to distort slightly as if the laws of physics had ceased to exist.

Aki decided the best course of action. She decided to surprise the intruder by giving them a taste of their own medicine and communicating with them on the psychic plane. This was Ishin-denshin no Jutsu. The Mind Transmission Technique. Maybe she could distract them until an opening to somersault to the weapons presented itself. {Who are you?}

“Tatsuya and Rin. My brother. My captain. That’s my pack.” Something flickered in Inojin’s eyes, relief, maybe even a fragile hope. He stayed quiet for another moment before nodding. “Yes,” he whispered. Then firmer. “Yes. I’d love that. Thank you.” Taiga’s smile widened, this time bright and real. The sudden burst of pheromones in the room shocked everyone. Inojin’s eyes widened as the invisible weight pressed against him, making the air thick and heavy. Tatsuya’s expression tightened, instantly recognizing what Taiga was doing.
