By the time I caught up, he had someone pinned against the wall, face down. I skidded to a stop, bracing myself to see some hired thug or some shadowy hitman— But what I saw made me blink in disbelief. It wasn't a man. It was a kid. Sixteen, maybe seventeen at most. Skinny. Trembling violently under Adrian's grip, wide-eyed with terror. Adrian stared down at him, his breathing ragged, anger bleeding into confusion. "What the hell?" Adrian muttered, his voice sharp but unsure, like the ground had shifted under his feet.

Beta Ivan looked in my direction once again and bravely approached me. “Alpha Vince—Oh!” He didn’t complete what he wanted to say when I threw a great punch on his face. He fell badly to the ground, and I saw blood on his lips. By seeing it, an evil smirk appeared on my lips. I hit him so well. My eyes quickly looked for Astrid. She was still standing near the tree, looking at Beta Ivan whimpering in pain. Shocked was visible on her innocent face.

Ava was glaring daggers at me. I gave her a cheeky wink. I heard a snarl, and then he was running towards me at full speed. I stood in my place, unmoving. When he was about to reach me, I pulled back my fist, lit it on fire and punched him across his pretty face. He flew back a couple dozen feet and crashed in the ground, his face in the dirt, where it belonged. Gasps arose in the air. No one was expecting this. No one had seen this kind of strength in our dimension. And to me, all this was nothing. It wasn't even that strong of a punch.

The loud rally resumed. Shaun, having to flinch with the one punch that Irvin had dealt on him, shrugged his shoulder and with one big swing using his elbow, it hit Irvin right by his ear. Irvin fell on the ground with a thudding sound. Irvin laid on the ground and I can see it in his eyes that he’s absorbing all of the damage with such a slower reaction. Shaun was already in heat as he was adept to sit on top of Irvin and he began punching him in the stomach and in the face.

Slam turned towards me and smirked a malicious smile. I fought back a shudder as his fist slammed me in the face. I stumbled backward and fell on my butt. He charged at me, and I jumped up only to have him take me down again. He was on top of me. He lifted his fist to hit me, but I got an idea. They said there were no rules…

But Everest just smiles again, blood dark and dried on his face. My head snaps back, and I grunt as one of Everest’s Betas, who snuck up behind me, drags me by my hair. I swirl and throw a blind punch. It hits the Beta square on the jaw, and his entire body cracks back. The crowd gasps. A coach or teacher should be here now, but no one wants to interfere in a fight like this. The Beta I punched bares his fangs, stumbling toward me, but before he can do anything, I land a second punch on his other cheek. The sound cracks as the Beta’s eyes roll back, and he thuds onto the grass.

He shouted before charging toward me. He tried returning a punch to my face, but I quickly dodge, grabbing his arm before twisting it behind his back, making him scream in pain. I slammed his face against the wall, before letting his arm go. Vic was starting to lose consciousness, but he still tried to stand up to fight. I quickly grabbed his head, twisting his neck until I heard a loud crack. I let go of Vic, letting his body slump to the floor.

The gun clatters to the floor. The man tries to fight back, swinging a fist at Vance's face, but Vance ducks effortlessly and drives his elbow into the man's ribs with brutal precision. The man grunts, doubling over, and Vance doesn't give him a chance to recover. He grabs the man by the back of the head and slams him face-first into the wall. The man crumples to the ground, unconscious. It's over in seconds. Vance pulls himself upright, breathing hard, his jaw tight.
