Is Behind Her Eyes Scary Novels & Stories

A croaked laugh was followed as her scary eyes met the black eyes of her tormentor. His face was covered with a black cloth. A huge scar, almost inhumane, resided on his left eye. It proved that no mercy was going to be given to her as she waited for her death in the arms of a monster. She looked behind him to see a few of his members with their faces hidden looking at her with those malicious eyes. A sharp blade blocked her view, earning her attention towards the one holding her. She shivered in fear, eyes closed, she wished it could be as painless as possible.

I look in the sideview mirror but I don't see anything. I continue driving keeping my eyes on the road. I notice how silent the car is and turn to look at my mum, but she is not staring at me. She is staring transfixed at something behind me, her face a blend of shock and horror. I don't dare look behind me out of fear that we may get bumped off the road so I take a look from the rare view mirror. My breath freezes in my lungs "Nicole" I manage to gasp out. Her eyes are glowing orbs of blue and her mouth is pulled back in a snarl. She lets out a growl that fills up the space of the car and sounds like a mix between her voice and something wholly other.

She snapped her eyes open in fright and alarm, her pleading screams muffled by the seal on her mouth. Unshed glistening tears flowed from her eyes. Amber marvelled at her pitiable state with devilish relish glowing amber eyes.
