The Kingpin's Captive (Omegaverse)

The Kingpin's Captive (Omegaverse)

That the man who’d bruised me—physically and mentally—had somehow found a way to make me care. I glanced at the flowers near my feet, their vibrant reds and yellows seeming almost too cheerful, mocking me. A bitter laugh escaped my lips. "Maybe it’s Stockholm syndrome," I muttered. The thought tasted like ash in my mouth, but it wasn’t far-fetched. I’d heard the stories: captives falling for their captors, victims finding comfort in their abusers. It was twisted, but it happened. And wasn’t that what this was?

CAGED- A Dark Billionaire Captive Romance

CAGED- A Dark Billionaire Captive Romance

His voice was rough and throaty, making goosebumps rise on every inch of my skin as he whispered, “And I’ll do it for you, my little devil, because you are mine. And no man will get to live who hurt you. You are mine to hurt too.” Maybe I have finally gone from abnormal to crazy. Living with him had pushed me through that door without me realising it. Or maybe, it finally happened what I promised myself wouldn't happen and without meaning to I became a victim of Stockholm syndrome. Because his last words didn't rankle as much as they soothed me this time and how warm and protected they made me feel. I just wished that it was just a momentary lapse in my stupid mind and not so intelligent hea

What an incredible book it was! I'm still in a daze. All the feelings and emotions you bought up in every character A.gupta and the constant growth of Antonio and Rica's relationship with each passing chapter is just so excellent..Thank you for writing this masterpiece. I'm waiting for the next one!!

Dear Ara

Dear Ara

"What do you mean?" "I need to see a psychologist. I feel like something's wrong with me. I watched Vanluke kill people. He told me his line of work. He's forcing me to marry him. Yet there's nothing like hatred carbed in me. I know he's dangerous yet I can defy him upfront with confidence he wouldn't hurt me or my loved ones. I'm not sure if I'm being conceited or something else if not that." "Perhaps Stockholm Syndrome?" Czar suggested.

THE POSSESSIVE BLOODLINE

THE POSSESSIVE BLOODLINE

I sit on the velvet sofa in the Bishop sunroom, a hot cup of tea untouched in my hands, eyes burning as the screen flickers. Another roundtable discussion. Another doctor explaining my psychology with a PhD smile and an empty heart. “When you consider Ingrid Bishop’s behavior—shielding Jace Grey from law enforcement, delaying rescue, even allegedly returning to his bed—this is a textbook case of Stockholm Syndrome.” The blonde anchor nods solemnly. “So she wasn’t in love. She was brainwashed.” “Exactly,” the doctor affirms. “This wasn’t romance. This was trauma bonding.” I let out a laugh—short, dry, venomous.

She sniffled, unable to add her words toghether without breaking down, “Dad. You have to leave, please….i don’t…I don’t want to…you don’t have to do this. I’m fine. I love my husband.” “No you don’t.” “Pardon?” “He caged you. He wore you out. He’s a monster.” “He’s my monster.” “No he’s not.” Charles snorted, “I didn’t peg you to be this stupid, Liv. Whatever you feel for that bastard? It’s Stockholm syndrome, a typical case.” She shook her head, “You think I haven’t thought of—

Possess Me: The Demon King's Mate

"I believe your kind calls that kidnapping." I narrowed my eyes at him. "If that was kidnapping, then based on your actions in the kitchen, I think we need to discuss the concept of Stockholm Syndrome."

Great read! I could not put this book down once I started! I wish it was a little bit longer and more POV from the ML, but that’s just me being greedy not wanting the book to end! overall it was excellent!

This book was so good! I found it in the 90% off section, down to my last few credits and the first chapters were like hmmm okay let's give it a shot. I ended up reading the entire thing in one sitting. Definitely a great read!

Keeping My Mate

Keeping My Mate

There was no way I wasn’t going to try and escape. “A comfortable home, once-in-a-lifetime experiences, and a family,” he continued. I almost choked on his words as the tears pricked my eyes, “I already have a family,” I said meekly, “So you’re basically asking me to succumb to Stockholm Syndrome.” Griffen let out a loud chuckle, “No Charlie, that’s not what I’m saying. Is that what you really think? You do know that he isn’t just being selfish, he’s doing this to protect you!” I could feel the sincerity in his voice, and it pained me to hear the truth.

After a couple of minutes, he closed the folder, removed his glasses, and looked at Mike. I'm Dr. Wilbur. You're her son?" "Yes, sir. I'm Mike." "Precious has been with us for two months...," "Sir, my mom's name is Ashley, Ashley Harmon." Dr. Wilbur looked at the name on the chart. "Yes, Ashley. She only answers to Precious. We'll get to that. Since her confinement six years ago your mother has developed some psychiatric conditions. That's why, rather than sending her home when released, she came to us. The Bad Son-in-Law

The Bad Son-in-Law

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ [A brief history of Stockholm Syndrome] The term Stockholm Syndrome began to be used by the media after a robbery at the Kreditbanken bank, Norrmalmstorg, Stockholm, in 1973. On the day of the robbery (August 23, 1973), a fugitive from the safe-breaking named Jan-Erik Olsson wandered in downtown Stockholm, Sweden. At that time Olsson was carrying a sub-machine gun hidden under his jacket. Unfortunately, no one expected Olsson to walk into the Kreditbanken building and shoot bullets at the ceiling shouting, "The party has started!"

How To Love A Murderer.

How To Love A Murderer.

“What the hell happened?! Is that blood? Are you hurt?!” “It’s not mine,” Ian muttered, avoiding his eyes. He went straight to his bag and started shoving clothes into it. “It’s Zhedya’s. He… he hurt himself.” John grabbed his arm, forcing Ian to look at him. “He what? Ian, look at me! This is the oldest trick in the book! He’s manipulating you! This is textbook! You have Stockholm syndrome!” “Stop it, John!” Ian yelled, yanking his arm away. “He was bleeding out on the floor! He’s not my abuser, he’s sick and he needs me! You don’t understand him like I do!”
