Lucifer Found His Angel

Lucifer Found His Angel

I stood up from the bed and faced him. "What you said is a psychological illness not love. It is called Stockholm syndrome. It is a disease. It happens when a hostage starts to feel a bond with the kidnapper and feels like it is love. I have seen few cases like this but you know what the truth is, they all got cured after treatment. And their abusers went to jail and they stopped feeling the love as well. And I am not that weak." I said and he raised an eyebrow asking if I am challenging him or what?

I said, holding his hand and sitting up as well. “No, I have been mentally torturing you by my stupid emotions all this time. I have hurt you countless times, you can’t say it.” He said, looking down. “I don’t remember anything.” I shrugged. “They call it Stockholm Syndrome. You chose it yourself, I gave you a path for liberation but You refused it: Why?” He asked, turning to me. “Call it whatever you want but you have to bear it for the rest of your life.” I smiled. “You are human. My lifespan is longer than yours, you can’t accompany me forever.”

When We Are Older

When We Are Older

"What a waste. You should have let him die; it would have been easier for us both, little one," My eyes flare up in rage. "HEY!" Once again, Dave sighs and scratches his mustache with his finger. "So, I take it we ain't turning you in anymore?" Marina answers for me. "I'm sorry, Dave. Adam told me you need the reward money. He told me you have a wife and three kids to take care of, which makes me feel guilty, but I really don't want to be in a cage and then later have my sister torture me as her prisoner,"

I Sold Out a Mafia Boss

I Sold Out a Mafia Boss

I wouldn’t dare to leave. I know this feeling. It’s a familiar kind of madness. This is Stockholm syndrome, isn’t it? The psychological game where a captive finds themselves feeling compassion and even affection for their captor. I am his captive, and I find myself loving the very chains that hold me here. But I can’t let that thought take root. I push it away, deep into the back of my mind. I get dressed, fix my hair, and check my face in the mirror before heading down. At the door, I slide the blindfold on, and the guards take me by the arm and lead me to the car.

MAFIA'S ANGEL

MAFIA'S ANGEL

"Because if Ethan was a bad person, his father was a monster. I realized it too late. And at that moment, I realized that Ethan truly loved me." She looked at me and continued hurriedly. "It was Stockholm syndrome, I guess, or maybe he was the only person I thought I knew. Before I realized it, I started having feelings for him. But they could not suppress my need to go home. There were times when things got worse. There were many times when I closed my eyes and let him do his worst. In such instances, I hated him. I had gone crazy; I was sure of it. I was growing soft on someone who was not worth it. But I guess he was as messed up as I was. He would apologize every single time but wouldn't

Wonderful! I loved this book. Great storyline, written well, strong characters and intriguing. What a love story. I must admit that the leading lady did get on my last nerve at times but that meant she was written in a realistic manner. Keep up this awesome work author will be reading more from you.

“She was pretty convinced that her father was the love of her life and she was certain that’s the only reason God took her mother away, so they could be together. Till today she’s currently in therapy to unlearn that” There was a brief silence between the two of us as we absorbed the weight of the story she just told. “Miss. Iris, do you believe she has a point?” she asked and returned to her seat once again. “I don’t think so, her father and uncle deserve to go to jail.” My answer extracted a smile from her like she was proud of my response. “My name is Christine; I am a renowned medico-legal psychotherapist. Been in the business for over twenty years and that is what a case of Stockholm sy

To all the readers waiting like me...I think the author just doesn’t use this platform anymore. There was an update on another platform, I just gave up. I do not like to leave a book and not knowing the ending. But it seems the author does not even bother post a comment on this platform.

Pucked by Alphas: The Omega Hockey Tomboy

"This changes everything. He'll never let you go now." "I know that," I said. "And honestly... I'm not sure I want to go anymore." "You can't be serious," Raymond stared at me in shock. "This is Stockholm syndrome. You're developing feelings for your captor." "Maybe," I said. "Or maybe I'm just trying to make the best of a complicated situation." "This isn't making the best of anything!" Raymond's voice rose. "This is giving up! This is letting him win!" "Get out," I said suddenly, surprised by my own anger. "Just... get out, Raymond."

Regretful Heart: CEO's Tears Over Her Pregnancy

Regretful Heart: CEO's Tears Over Her Pregnancy

Then I reached into my purse, pulled out my phone, and typed slowly into the search bar: "Stockholm effect." The first definition that popped up read: ‘A psychological response wherein a hostage or victim develops positive feelings for their captor, often mistaking fear and dependency for love or trust.’ My stomach twisted. Could that… really be what this was? What I felt for Warren? No. No. Warren wasn’t my captor—he was my savior. He was the one who had protected me, the one who risked his life to get us both out. But still… we had shared fear, desperation, survival. Could trauma really have blurred those lines?

Nice story. I think Vienna should get back together with Warren. He has been loyal to her all the time and he didn't even have many friends to share his pain. But Vienna was always surrounded by her friends and she even wanted to date other guys at some point in time.

His body didn't fit well, so he curled slightly on his side facing her. "Do you need to relieve yourself?" "No." He couldn't believe she still had the upper hand. "Then I'm tucking myself in." "Be my guest." He waited until she climbed inside her sleeping bag and appeared settled. "Tell me why Stockholm syndrome fascinates you so much." Her breathing slowed and her voice softened, "I want you to love me." He inhaled sharply. "You think kidnapping someone makes them love you?" "That's where S.S. comes in," she said in the same dreamy voice.

Claimed By The Mafia Boss

Claimed By The Mafia Boss

Someone like him doesn’t end up with someone like me. He ends up with women like that. With their glossy hair and old-money background. I stood up and yanked my hoodie off. I felt like clawing my skin off. Like ripping my chest open to let the pressure out. My hands trembled as I paced the room, trying to breathe. It’s Stockholm syndrome. That’s what it is. It has to be. That’s the only thing that makes sense. I was kidnapped. I’ve been drugged, beaten, isolated, touched by hands that didn’t care about my screams. I was locked in places with no light for weeks. I was auctioned like a fucking product.
