Is There Always A Cursed Object In Phasmophobia Novels & Stories

"You're right. Maybe I am overreacting." As we spoke, Jess suddenly noticed David was no longer beside her. "Where's David? Did you see where he went?" she asked, glancing around in panic. My eyes darted to the open door behind her, a sinking suspicion already forming. "Did he go outside?" Before I could finish the thought, a scream pierced through the air from the opposite house. "Who let this little brat in my house? How dare you make a mess here? I'll beat you to death!"

asked Nadine in terror. “Not necessarily Nadine,” said Aris. “A lot of times there are distortions in your mind according to your fears. There are things you are normally going to see and things you are not going to see. However, it has been detected that people who have dreamed of divine objects always have nightmares about them. It is possible that, in dreaming of the place, the curse of the place has shown you a horrendous vision so that you cannot go.” “This is worse than I could have imagined; how are we going to look for a magical grimoire in a place where we can't use our powers?” asked Nadine in despair.

I crouched nearby, dagger across my knees, and let it sit. There had been no Academy warning about cursed objects. Not formally. We’d been told some of the island’s artifacts were protected. That certain objects were part of the simulation—lures, traps, misdirections. But this didn’t feel like an illusion. It felt old. Buried. Real. And it hadn’t been part of the stated objective. Which meant: someone had put it here for a different reason. I didn’t think it was a trap for me. Not specifically.

Now maybe we could finally do something to help Elva. “What kind of talisman?” Julian asked. “A member of the organization likely left some type of object nearby that would give strength to the dark magic. It would have had to been by the person who initially place the curse, and it would be an object very special to them. Something that exudes a lot of emotion for them.” After she was done speaking, everyone looked at me. “No,” I gasped, because I knew what they were inferring. It was the same thing I was thinking now.

The fake sheeps backed away but they still have Manor and Terrius cornered. " Don't get bitten!! Each of them carries a curse or disease!" Kaen warned. " And for every curse or disease carrier, a cure carrier is created. Which is the cure? The one hidden in the swam? Or the dead ones beyond your feet?" V1 mocked with a smile.

She said, peering into my eyes, and I could see a glint of tears in her eyes. “We will, I can guarantee you that,” I said, glancing at Zahir before I left with Hikari and Morfan. I had left behind my spy butterfly to monitor them. It was all on Venus now. Curses had a weakness — they were parasites. They could either remain stuck to a person or a thing. Zahir had placed individual curses on all escape routes. Those didn’t really care about what the other curses were commanded to do. So even if they saw Venus escape through that window, they would be the least bothered.

Or was she just very far from it? She crawled slowly towards the open coffin and when she was almost close enough, she peeped into it and saw a- No, that was- No, no. She peeped again for a little bit longer to be sure of what she had seen earlier, and indeed it was what she had seen! What the-?! What is this... thing? An animal? A weird creature? A mutant? An animal mutated creature?! Black fog like the miasma following her earlier was coming out of its body and circulating it. It was like a dead human with the strangest appearance.

Isaac said sedately "putting together thoughts and a string of coincidences, at least that's how I think. I might be wrong." "I hope not," Ash burned his throat as he swallowed. The woman was getting louder and her constant shifting to show off her shapely legs or expensive accessories was annoying him. "Although there sure are people I'd like to see a curse on." "Old objects have strange auras," Isaac tactfully ignored the latter remark. "They're thousands of years old, they've passed through more than we could ever hope to see. That idea alone can send shivers up the spine."

I could tell she felt the foul smell too of sulphur. “Aziz, what was that?” Pelin cried, her voice trembling. “What the hell just happened?” “An imitator,” I said, my tone sharp. “A creature of black magic, wearing Emre’s face to lure her. It’s gone now, but we’re not safe here.” Eren’s eyes were wild, the hellblade still in his hand. “Where’s Emre? Was that call even him?” “probably not,” I admitted, my gaze flicking to the mill’s shadowed walls. “But this place is cursed. We need to move. I’m taking Manolya to the shop. Meet us there, and bring the weapons master! Tell him it’s me.”

Later that night, I’m at the edge of the territory when my phone vibrates in my pocket. Only one person calls me this late. I answer immediately. “Talk.” Static first. Then a rough voice. “You need to see this.” “See what?” “Tracks. They stop at the border. Like something tested it.” My stomach tightens. “Tested how?” “Like it was checking for weak spots.” I look into the darkness beyond the tree line. The air feels wrong. “Stay there,” I say. “Do not engage.” “You think it’s tied to the curse?”
