Luca hesitated for a moment before hooking his finger with his, sealing it with a small, serious nod. The drive felt… easier than I expected. Once I stopped fighting the fact that this was happening, that I had actually said yes, the tension slowly began to ease. “You should’ve seen Leo at the last Alpha training in Toscana,” Lorenzo said, glancing at me with a grin that felt rare and unguarded. “He thought he could outrun a timed obstacle course after eating a full stack of ricotta pancakes.
