And yet he turned and looked right at Jace. “You’re the new one,” Elias said. “Yes, Alpha,” Jace answered, nervously. “What’s your name?” “Jace Lacewood.” Elias stepped closer. The Alpha Elias people heard stories and rumors of. “You smell like something I haven’t felt in years,” Elias said. Jace didn’t know what to say to that. He looked down at his hands, trembling. Elias moved closer, his hands slowly reaching out to touch him. "Don't move, little wolf."

And then the doors slam open. Gasps ripple through the crowd. Heads turn and my blood runs cold. Jace. He stumbles in, leather jacket hanging off one shoulder, a bottle of wine in his hand. His hair is messy, his eyes wild, and the smirk on his face screams trouble. “Congratulations!” His voice is loud and mocking, filling the entire hall. He raises the bottle like it’s a toast. “To the lovely couple. May your marriage be blessed with—” he sways on his feet, laughing bitterly, “—long, long years of happiness.”

I pushed it towards him. “Werewolf movie.” “How do you know?” Adams questioned, the more skeptical one of us. Jace scoffed, “Do you think I’d go through an audition without knowing what the film is?” “His script, what’s in it?” Adams asked me. “Nothing major, three sentences…” “They’re going to choose actors with that?” “They could have a star spotter, like Bowen.” Jace added. “He hasn’t produced or directed anything in years- his appearance is as coveted as much as big foot. There was no way he could be on this project.”

He wasn't thrilled about being filed away under "just friends." Deep down, he knew the type of guys she went for, the wild, exciting ones. He was just an ordinary kid who spent his days covered in paint. Why would she want anything more with him? He nodded anyway, swallowing his disappointment. Who was he kidding? He didn't stand a chance. ******** When morning finally came, Jace dropped Isabella off and drove back to his place. Walking into the living room, he found Jade crashed on the couch. She was still wearing his oversized clothes and the wig.

One suitor, in particular, caught her eye - Jace Sullivan, the son of Liam Sullivan and Natalie Sullivan. Jace Sullivan was a mysterious figure at school. Handsome and silent, he commanded attention wherever he went. It was evident that he had inherited his father's wealth and charm. However, Jace kept to himself and showed no interest in the typical pursuits of his peers. He was neither interested in girls nor boys, preferring to live his life without complications. Jace's enigmatic demeanor only served to intensify Tracey's infatuation with him.

Mallory stepped closer to Jace slowly. “So let me get this straight,” she said softly. “You left your pregnant wife alone on your wedding night… to discuss files?” Jace smirked slightly. “When you say it like that it sounds bad.” “It is bad.” “Not my worst decision tonight though.” Mallory laughed quietly. Then her expression softened just slightly. “Come home with me.” Zena immediately looked at Jace. Jace looked back at Mallory. “We’re literally standing beside a cliff after committing possible murder,” he said.

His real name, Ace Willow, came to light to everyone's shock, and he was in fact not from the States but from a remote village in London. Through the orchestrated accident alongside the road which was a blindspot, the real Jace was killed and secretly buried, while the fake Jace took his position at the accident scene with a few added sets to make the show complete. The car caught fire and blew up right on the spot, but the fake Jace was already miles away from it while pretending to struggle for life, after injecting some kind of drug into his bloodstream to activate his hormones.

I'm pretty sure he knew that I was going to look into him. And that was my reason for being hesitant about taking Jace with me. I'd got a glimpse of where those SEALs live and I have the feeling that shit would only give Jace ideas. He was already making noise about building a place like the one on the island where we all could live. The kid's a damn hippie at heart. *** JACE *** "Track wants us to go to Georgia to meet his sister. We're going this weekend if you're not too sick." I said that shit hopefully. Not that I'm in any hurry to leave her behind, but I hate taking her into the unknown.

"I have loved you since I first met you in the forest. I'm mad at myself for falling in love with you at first sight. Because of my arrogance, that does not admit these feelings to you." Jace continued to roar. Rain was still unconscious. With his big and strong monster body, Jace held Rain, who looked fragile, in his arms. The entire army of darkness in their hundreds was marching around the Westlake town hall when they saw Jace come out holding Rain in his arms. They had just battled an army of wolves and warlocks. They all knelt and hummed their deep sorrow.

“My name is Cassandra Vermont, and my mum is Agatha Vermont, the Royal Luna and mate of King William, my father. Though he thinks we’re both dead, and we’d like to keep it that way.” Jace stared at her, his expression a mix of shock, confusion and an edge of something else she couldn’t quite read. When his silence persisted, she felt herself wither. He hadn’t outright proclaimed her a traitor to the Kingdom or rejected her as a wolf in his pack, but he also hadn’t pulled her into his arms and reassured her he didn’t care. Logan did. With Jace lost in his thoughts, the Shadow Forest Alpha tugged her into his embrace, holding her so her back was to his chest, and she could keep her eyes on Jac
