Jack reported, pushing a fancy box to Carolina who accepted it with a puzzled look. She eyed the box suspiciously, wondering what it's content would be. "Thank you Jack" she murmured and Jack bowed about to leave her presence but she pulled him back again. "Anything new?" She inquired, referring to the missing recorder but Jack shook his head negatively. Carolina sighed in defeat and slowly let him go. She turned her attention back to the box Jack had given her and curiously opened it. There was a small placard in it on which Connor had scribbled a sort of message for her to read.

“All I can tell ye, lass, is that sometimes things are not what they seem. Perhaps ye should go to Jaxon’s room and relax. He has some books on top of his bedside drawer and some more interesting things inside of it that you can look through.” I lift a curious brow at his suggestive tone. But before I can ask what he means, he sits back down, opens his laptop, and begins to type away. Glancing back in the direction of Jaxon’s bedroom door, I look at Scotty, then look back. Jack grinned. “Nothing is too much for you. Come on go and take a shower and head downstairs, there’s still more to see” Jane revealed. “I rather see it now than let the suspense kill me” Jack joked. “That’s why it’s called a surprise, it wouldn’t be a surprise anymore if I let you know before you even get to see it” Jane defended and she said exactly what was on my mind. “If you say so, those are for the both of you, the green box is for you and the other one is for Lily” Jack said pointing to the gifts he had bought for jane and me.

Jack balanced the tray of food on one arm and slid the door open to his cabin. A small light illuminated the room from the nightstand and an eleven-year-old girl looked up from her book where she sat on the bed. "Hey kiddo," Jack greeted. "Was your mission good?" Lexi asked. Jack set the tray of food down on the table across from the bed and pushed the stack of books out of the way with it. "Yeah, we saved a bunch of huge women."

He asks and I chuckle. "This book is about a war between dragons and shit. It's not like a cook book or a knitting class." I say, chewing on some ice as I type up the description online. "Stop chewing on ice, you're gonna ruin your teeth." Jack barks through the phone, but I ignore him. "Yes or no? I'm sure Mrs. B would just give us the books. You're the one who was bitching that we need to try new things." I say and he groans a little, obviously annoyed by me.

Jack takes the menu from my hand and starts looking at the various choices of drinks. "I'll just have a glass of martini," Jack says as he starts to open the zipper of his sling bag. "Anything else?" I ask with a casual tone. "No," Jack says as he pulls out a baby blue lunch box from his sling bag. "By the way, these are for you," Jack adds as he hands me the blue lunch box with a shy look on his face. I turn my gaze at him as I see his hands holding the lunch box. What is it? And what does he have in mind right now?

Slowly, I pulled the lid off and I was horrified when I saw two heads of babies with eyes wide open as their mouths were open too. I screamed in horror as I moved away from it and fell to the ground. My hands were shaking as I see a lot of bloodstain on the bluish and purplish heads and even on the insides of the box. I tried to calm my fast heart beating as I breathe heavily through my nose and my mouth before I finally dared to approach it again since there was a small envelope inside it. I looked away while I was reaching out for the envelope and as soon as I took a hold of it, I opened it and it says: “You will lose what I lost. -Jolene”
