The Pure-Hearted Princess and the Kiss of Darkness

The Pure-Hearted Princess and the Kiss of Darkness

Juan says, obviously as confused as I feel. “The size is that of a large dog,” I muse. “It’s not from this world, that much I am certain off… whatever was-” I’m cut off suddenly. “It’s a chupacabra,” Carlos says suddenly. “A what?” I ask, grabbing a rod and prodding the thing. “Madre told me about them in her stories of old folklore. They’re vampire-like creatures that suck the blood of livestock and naughty children,” he says, his face pale.

This one holds a Special place in my Heart. Perhaps because I followed the MFC & MMC from childhood but their story is one to make you feel all forms of Emotions (Good, Bad and in between) till the end of the story. I didn't want the story to end just like all this Amazing Author's other works!

I reread the book as it is completed and I have to say this story is even more enthralling then reading it while ongoing. I love this book , ever since King Alejandro, the return of her cold hearted Alpha, with Enrique and Kataleya being kids , I wanted to read this story! And it did not disappoint!

Alpha's Pride

Alpha's Pride

Willing to break the silence again, Stone cleared his throat before asking, “what the hell is even a soul harvester? That sounds so made up.“ Everest chuckled at his plain disgust, “It’s a terrifying bed time story parents of the Gareth pack would tell their kids in order to put the fear of the unknown into them. It was, still is, our version of the boggie-man*.” Stone nodded, his calculative look returned. “But how do you know it isn’t real? Most bed time stores are myths and most myths are very real.” He waved at the four of them, “most humans think we are myths.”

Denied by Destiny: Trapped in the Shadows of the Mate Bond

I grunt as I stir my hot drink. “That’s what I thought but this alpha, he swears to the Moon Goddess that he saw one, during the battle…at this new pack.” “There’s no such thing as a white wolf. He must have had a knock to the head and seen something white in the distance.” White wolves were a myth, a fantasy. Something you tell children as part of a nursery tale.

On the other hand, Hector didn’t grovel enough, I might be petty… After regaining her memories Kaia knew that Alora and Hector rejected one another, but if I’m not wrong she wasn’t actually made aware of this fact before loosing her memories, nor after.

I like that the general plot twists are unexpected , but some plots are lost, others unresolved. It's a good story that needs a better proof reader or editor and needs to finalize one story before moving to the next, it reads like a daytime soap opera.

Alpha's Runaway Luna

Alpha's Runaway Luna

I stared at him in shock. “Yes, they did exist. No longer though, humans saw them as something sacred however, the vampires saw them as a disease. The vampires wiped out their colonies. Some who were able to escape for refuge amongst some packs who would accept them. That is how the Alpha of her pack found out one was his mate. Many of the Leprechauns were not very trustworthy. The whole concept of them making gold was not always truth. Some were cut throats, and thieves. The Vampires had a lot of that gold, and they stole it from the Vampires. The Vampires decided they needed to be extinct. The witches stole their magic, and the vampires slaughtered them. So, some of mythology is accurate b

Her Alpha King

Her Alpha King

I asked, my voice barely above a whisper, finally finding the courage to speak. "Yes, they do, but they think it is a myth," Xavier replied, his tone resigned. If only they knew the truth, I thought to myself. The reality was that harming a White Wolf, especially killing one, would invoke the wrath of the Moon Goddess. Those involved in such an act would face certain death, a retribution that was swift and merciless. This divine punishment was not a mere story to frighten children; it was a law of the supernatural world, as immutable as the phases of the moon itself. The thought of such a fate was both terrifying and oddly comforting to me. It meant that there was a higher power maintaining

says uncle Gabriel. Gabriel takes my hand and Dimitri’s so he can channel us to help teleport so many people at once. “Lanuae faera.” In a blink of an eye we are teleported to a beautiful lake. I immediately feel serene. I can see unicorns gathered by the lake in a herd just like wild horses do. They are so beautiful. There are several merfolk coming up from the huge lake riding on sea-horses. I believe they are call a hippocampus. There are so many mythical creatures it makes me wonder was is actually myth and what is real.

Jaguar's Shadow

Jaguar's Shadow

"Tell me more about these jaguar shifters, Mateo. Where did the legend come from?" Mateo's eyes darted around nervously before he answered. "It's an old story, passed down through generations. They say the jaguar spirits chose certain people to be their guardians. These guardians can take the form of jaguars to protect the jungle from those who would harm it." Miguel chimed in, his voice hushed with excitement. "But how would that even work? Scientifically, I mean." Isabel shook her head. "It wouldn't, Miguel. It's just a myth, a way for people to explain things they don't understand."

'Werewolf Mythology : The love story of Lycaon and Lydia'. "You mean Lycaon, the God of Werewolves and Lydia the Noble one? Why would a mythical story be the hint for your vision, besides their supposed love story is just a myth." "You will have to read their story to understand it. My vision included similar situations mentioned in their story. Maybe it's a mythical story which was supposed to happen in the future?" Joan questions. "You mean someone was predicting the future with this myth of a story?" Jade couldn't come to terms with the fact that Joan would believe in such absurd things.

Midnight Howling

Midnight Howling

“Wait...I remember you asked me to find out more about therianthropy,” “Yup...” “Is that something other than a lycanthrope?” “As far as I know, the only difference between them is that therianthrope is a myth, but I’m not sure if there is a difference because they both turn into werewolves,” Jasper said, laughing. She pulled me up to the top of the hill and made me sit on a rock, from which I could see the beautiful scenery in the woods. “I remember that when I was young, my grandpa, my dad’s father, always told us stories about the tribe.” Jasper gave me a quick look. “Do you want to hear?”

My CEO Alpha

My CEO Alpha

Otherwise, they’d have been found out long before this. There it was. Right there. Jordan was just thinking about how foolish it was for hybrids to exist. Someone mentions the jackalope. A cross between a hare and an antelope. They were a taxidermy scam from the turn of the century. The human who created it actually admitted to the scam, but people still hunted for it and lumped it in with other cryptids. Shifters didn’t normally lose their hair. But reading these messages was enough to have Jordan pulling out his hair in frustration and anxiety. Some humans made the species look like idiots and Jordan wondered how they’d survived to get this far.

I am enjoying this story. Though, Malcolm and Jordan really piss me off sometimes. I feel like they are taking their relationships for granted in both worlds, but that could just me. Otherwise, great story line, great use of other shifters and well written.

This story is incredible! I'm surprised there are no comments yet. I do think the title could be improved since Malcolm, while a boss, does not seem to be the CEO, based on how the story is written. The pace is good and there are not so many grammar or spelling errors. This story should be promoted.
