Embroidered throughout her hair were different colored gems which highlighted her bright features and olive skin. I always told Jonathan that Jade reminded me of an Egyptian goddess. As we entered the shop, she was standing behind the counter reading some kind of book I couldn’t see. Her golden-brown eyes shot upward and into our direction; her olive lips turned into a pleasant smile. “Jess told me you were going to be coming,” Jade said, her tone silky. “Welcome to my shop.” “Did she tell you why we were here?” Jonathan asked, approaching the counter. Willa leaned across the counter; her eyes flashed something of a mystery as she looked between the two of us.

Janessya comments. She is the only one of the women who didn’t have a doctor's appointment today. I felt bad not going with Sapphire to hers, but she told me it was nothing more than a check-up and that she would be fine. Dad had found out about the appointment, and he had one of his guys drive since she still shouldn’t be driving alone. As predicted, she argued about that, but I won the argument in the end when I told her that Dad was the one who had the guy come and pick her up. She still wasn’t happy, but she dropped it and climbed into the car. Janessya kisses Riley and then heads off to her job. She is majoring in music, but she is a fantastic dancer. She teaches at a local dance

She handed me a novel. " Read it." She sniffs. " The revenge started because of love....what ends it read it. " I met her gaze but didn't collect the book so she throws it onto the ground and cleaned the tear that had dropped on her cheek and walks away. I look down at the book: ' Why?!' I didn't realize I had started crying until a drop of tears fell onto the book cover. ______________________ Jade pov Numb, it ain't pain, I just feel.....numb. opening my eyes I see all white. Where am I? I'm on a bed. Last time I remember,I was in my dad's shop. How did I get here?

~Wren~ Jade is propped up against the headboard of my bed, flipping through a book. She glances up briefly before closing it and setting it to the side as she watches me closely. I have always tried to hide my emotions and put on a stoic face, and sometimes, I can be successful when the dire need arises, but right now, I can tell I’m failing. My mind reels from the truth that just unfolded itself in my lap. I don’t know how to process the information or what to do with it.
