Amelia's pov: I found myself paralyzed for a couple of hours on my spot. My eyes were wide open as I stared back at Jade with a dropped jaw. I still can't wrap what I just heard around my head, it is damn much and squelching to digest. I could sense something like fear flickering around his eyes. Jade is an assassin working for that murderous creature that is called the Alpha. I can't still absorb this whole drama, so he is working for that awful creature.

Jades pov Jade’s pov “Jade,What are you doing here this late?”Alpha Luca asks. I stand there at his office door looking at him. It’s been 3 days since his been by the ranch. And he looks like complete shit. Alpha Luca is everything you read about werewolves. His 6’5 and built like a god. Has the most amazing hazel eyes, you have ever seen. Then you throw in a dark beard and perfectly cut short hair. I swear, when we go out even with his mate hanging off of his arm every girl stops.

I take the stairs two at once wishing I could go faster than normal. I got to the second floor and just like Aztec had said Noir was walking out of a room with the Alpha and some of the high-ranked wolves behind them. There was no Ezra in sight and I almost sobbed, but I held it in as all eyes were on me, the Alpha’s own standing out. I bowed at them as they got closer. I didn’t look up to know if they responded. I only did when they all walked past me except for Noir who stayed behind. “Jade, Aztec told me you were looking for me”

she said, leaning forward with her clasped hands dropped over the table. *** Jade’s POV I couldn’t refute again what had been said as most of what the alpha dropped were in line with what was happening. He was right. I knew too little about Conan to even defend him. He was keeping secrets from me unlike Brad that had been an open book from day one. I could only do so much to defend him, this was not one of those times. To show he didn’t even trust me he has placed a chip inside me. He was monitoring my movements.

I inquired, bracing myself for the answer. Albert's response left me awestruck. "That would be Master Alex, the leader of the Blue Lotus Academy. Having attained the pinnacle of Advanced peak Master level, he now sets his sights on the prestigious Martial Arts Master level." The gravity of Master Alex's stature left me momentarily speechless, but before I could fully process this information, a familiar ping from the system interrupted our discussion. The system's timely notification interrupted our conversation with a familiar ping, presenting a new quest: [Become the Master of the Bright Light Academy]. It seemed fate had aligned once more, guiding my path.

CHAPTER 26 ALEX Our men are closing in on Mason. He has to pay for all his done to Gabriel’s Bella and Jacob! He is a master of disguises, and he is very skilled in slipping through the cracks and getting away. Our men lost him on numerous occasions, and when they managed to track him down again, he looked so much different to the previous times they’d seen him. From the last update I got from our men, they confirmed that it was definitely him and were going to make a grab for him soon without creating a scene. He's really street smart, and even though he's 'on the run', when he's out from his hiding holes, he blends in with crowds, making it difficult for our guys to grab him. We can't take

Under the cover of darkness, Jean slipped out of the mansion and made his way towards the garden after he saw Alexa was standing alone near the fountain. The moon bathed the landscape in a soft glow, setting a somber tone for the confrontation that was about to take place. He found Alexa still alone, standing with empty eyes near the marble fountain. "Alexa," Jean called out, his voice echoing in the quiet garden. She turned around, her eyes widening in surprise as she recognized him.
