Tossing the towel and Raija's dress over my shoulder, I walked to my temporary cave home. It was degrading and a downgrade from the home I once occupied as Alpha. I would still be Alpha if I had my mate but there was no way I could defeat two others who challenged me during my younger years. Being a rogue now for several years has taught me much and I have grown much stronger, larger and wiser. When I stood before the opening of my cave home I glanced back at the direction I had traveled.
