I exhaled harshly and put my earbud back in and didn't push play, closing my eyes to Everett frowning at me. I pretended to ignore the two as I sat back and listened to them talk. "Rogue is an extremely attractive man, um, plus an A+ assassin, he might fall in love with her at first glance and we will be out of the running, Everett mumbled upset and Cassian laughed at him.

She knew that she had to prove herself, not just to Jasper and Brody, but to herself. Finally, the day arrived when Jasper deemed her ready to track down the rogue again. Athena set out with a determined heart, her senses on high alert. She followed the trail, her feet pounding the earth, her heart beating fast in her chest. She was getting close, she could feel it.
