“You’re my mate,” he said, his steel-blue eyes blazing fiercely. “I’m going to support you in your time of need. Fuck tradition. And I’m making my first Alpha move—reaching for peace with the rogues instead of war.”
I wanted to argue, but there wasn’t time. I grabbed his hand. “Let’s go, then.”
The Rosemont staff couldn’t stop us from barging past them and running to the stairwell. They definitely called security or the police, but we made it to the fourth floor in record time.
