Zelda’s POV The lights suddenly illuminated Alpha Jake, the center of attention at his welcome party. Dressed in a white suit with a golden symbol on the chest, he radiated authority. "Welcome, Alpha Jake," the usher began, trying to build up the atmosphere. "The alpha of the rogues, the one and only alpha who can have any woman he desires, the alpha who slayed a lion at the age of three, the alpha who—" Alpha Jake interrupted the usher, raising his hand to silence him.

I said, and he nodded. "Jake, can you tell me how many people were in the forest when you killed those rogues? Apart from you and I, how many were there?" I asked, and he shook his head. "Two. Jacob and Max. They are the head lycans in my team and specialize in the rogue handling department," Jake said, and I nodded. "Do you know who I am?" I asked, looking him straight in the eyes, and he looked at Alvin before nodding.

He has the silver ring now and can control them to do whatever he wants. He was in the small sitting room of the hideout with the three little Rugrats... Trying all of his best to bond with them as their father but something didn't just felt right. The kids kept insisting they wanted their mother and that he was not their father. Jake finds out he is not the kids father and he doesn't even likes them. "The kids are not mine biological but legally they're mine" He claimed. "Hannah is caught and sent to life imprisonment under compromise because of her daughter..."

"Since you're classmates, you two can serve me tonight." With a wave of his hand, Jake instructed his bodyguards dressed in black, "Take them both away." Wendy quickly stepped in front of the trembling Luna, her gaze cold as she stared at Jake. "Kidnapping someone in broad daylight? Don't you realize this is illegal?" "Illegal?" Jake burst out laughing, his tone full of arrogance. "In Hovendale, I'm a big shot. I dine with Mr. Hawk, the wealthiest man in town, and you're telling me about the law?"

After his short-term community service, Jake out and out decided to come with us and an unfamiliar guy, in his statement shirt, whom I just met today. His opal eyes, angular face shape, and his chocolate brown grungy hair sheds another Aries’ offspring. He greeted us with a lukewarm nod and laid his head low again, playing a retro game in his phone. His name is Marco. “He’s a game freak. It’s hard to grapple his attention when he’s too absorbed by the fictitious aliens and virtual spaceships that is his whole life,” Jake japed. Jake’s playful verve is always up the roof. His shenanigans in the fast-food chain made me impassive towards his frivolities.

I asked, concerned, as I noticed Jake collapsing to the ground. "While attempting to return from the mission, I was struck by energy. I quickly opened a portal and ended up here," Jake explained before losing consciousness. Dave and I rushed to his side. "Let me examine him," Dave said, using his healing magic on Jake. I realized I had sent Jake as a spy in the Dragon realm to gather information about Ella's mate's family. How did they discover his identity? I had cast a spell on Jake to prevent anyone from noticing his presence. "However, what's strange is the injury caused by the artificial magic weapon on Jake's body. Those weapons are primarily sold by the green witches," Dave responded,

"Even death is possible with jousting. So, are you game, Jake?" Hearing this, Jake was stunned, and so was Mr Cook. 'These shameless villains, so they couldn't come up with a better game? How barbaric can they get?' Jake had never been in actual war despite his training the previous night. So thinking about the jousting being a contact sport, Jake was reluctant. "Are you scared, Jake? I thought you were El-Tarter s champion," Raek Sheen taunted. Hearing the mocking, Jake was infuriated.

"Jake, isn't this... a bit too much?" "Not at all," Jake said without hesitation. "I have one more thing." He searched his pockets and after patting around for a while, he finally found the thing in his back pocket and took it out. Much to Ryder's surprise, it was a self-defense ring with two spikes shaped like cat ears. The metal ring was painted black, and Ryder was pretty sure that Jake was the one who had painted one of the ears white so it would resemble Moonlight. "Where did you even find all these?"

Jack sat back on the bar stool. His eyes were big. He ran his hands through his brown hair. Did he hear Mr. Gibson correctly? He was Henry Kingsley? No! He was Jack. He's always been Jack. This was impossible! Mr. Gibson must be wrong. He must have him confused with someone else. "Mr. Gibson, I'm sorry, but you must be mistaken. My name is Jack. I grew up at Old George Orphanage. I'm no Kingsley descendant, I'm sure of it."

I question, putting the mug down on the coffee table. “ Jake Houston. Luna. ” He replies curtly. He is trying his best to not look at me and stare at the wall instead. “ What happened to the warriors from the North Forest Pack? I know you two were only pretending to be losing. ” Folding my arms over my chest, I ask. Jake glances my way and abruptly averts his gaze when he finds me glaring at him directly now. “ I am afraid I can’t tell you Luna. ” His voice is firm.
