It was Mike’s extra varsity jersey, a deep navy and gold fabric that swallowed my frame but proudly displayed the name WELLER and the number 0 across my back.
"Look at you," Jake grinned, leaning over from the seat beside me, a massive, unbothered smirk on his face. Chad sat on my other side, lazily spinning a spare basketball between his fingers. "The ghost officially has a haunting permit. I think Weller’s chest is going to explode before the whistle even blows."
"Shut up, Jake," I muttered, though my cheeks flushed a furious pink. I looked down at the court, my eyes immediately tracking the towering, dominant figure warming up near the key.
