Lie

Lie

Spring was in full force, shining in through my bedroom window. I stared out, seeing the tree’s branches wave. It was gorgeous, and although it was so within reach, I felt as if it was never within reach. I reached for the curtain, darkening the room immediately. My chest fully exhaled. The darkness of the room covered me—just another day in this hellhole. I turned back in the room, even in this dark room, I could make out my bed, a grand king-sized, fully made. Nothing in this house was ever out of place.

Remember me naked

Remember me naked

LOOM OF THORNS

LOOM OF THORNS

THIRD PERSON POV The showroom of Maison de Soie located in Victoria Island was a sanctuary of silent, obscene wealth. It smelled of expensive French lavender, Lemon zest, and the crisp, starchy scent of imported tulle and other fabrics. Thick, cream-colored fluffy rug swallowed the sound of footsteps, and the floor-to-ceiling mirrors reflected rows of mannequin torsos draped in ivory silk, white Chantilly, hand-beaded lace, and crystals that caught the morning sun. It was a place meant for blissful, exotic and expensive brides. For Ada, it was an exciting moment. For Josh, it was a waiting room.

Jensen

Jensen

I giggled at his stupidity as he walked past me and out to the car. “Well, I am glad to see that Dillion and you seem to get along because he is going to be staying with you in Rome.” I turned around and held my breath as I looked at Jensen standing at the bottom of the stairs. He was wearing a plain black t-shirt that showed off his abs and chest muscles perfectly. A pair of ripped black jeans with black converse high tops and a black leather jacket thrown over his shoulder. He was breathtaking and I could feel my lust for him rising more and more. I calmed myself and walked over to him and wrapped my arms around his neck. “Aww. Are you jealous handsome?” His arms came around my waist and p

Rendezvous

Rendezvous

It resembled the white walls of a room after years of being stained by the pollution of smoke and nicotine; morphed into a pale cream— smokers white, Jade had called it. She reversed the compact car into an open parking space and stared up at the towering building across the lot. Her eyes drifted up over a row of balconies, counting each one until they reached the fifth floor. Through the mirror-like pane of glass, she could see the verticle blinds were drawn shut. She then looked to the right of it, observing the window closest to the door panel. It was Jonathon's office window. Those blinds always remained closed. The glare from the sunlight conflicted with his view of the monitors in the

Couldn’t have asked for a better ending! It was definitely a little slow to get going - the first like 25 chapters seemed to drag on, but once it picked up, it was very intriguing and well written. Recommend reading - good job author!

“Besides… it’s a great distraction right now.” Gwenevere understood that. Her mother needed distraction more than anyone else in the family. She was the one who was the most affected by Jolie’s sickness. But Gwenevere did not understand why she was seated close to the Crimsons. Mrs. Crimson always gave Hannah reasons to worry. As soon as Mrs. Crimson sighted Gwenevere, she began talking loudly to the other neighbors seated with her, making sure Hannah could hear her. “I just got the latest Joycee wrist watch, last week. It costs one thousand dollars.” She said, her voice covering half of the whole backyard.

The Last Thunder

The Last Thunder

“Yeah.” Claude noticed the hesitation, and he patted Jai’s shoulder again to calm him down. “Relax. Nothing should be worried about.” Jai nodded. “Yeah. I’m just, it’s too hot in here.” He lied. Claude smirked and patted his cheek once. “Just a bit longer, little brother. Hang on that sheet.” ‘Sheet?’ Jai didn’t understand. But when Claude made a gesture to his face, he instantly understood. He fixed his scarf so that the ends weren’t on his back but on his front. It’s so that nobody would be able to pull him from behind.
