A Perfect Distraction
Logan growled as he ran his hand through his gelled hair.
“You already know what I want. Watson, your sign is worth two billion dollars.” Herbert stated once more.
“I swear, this is the last time I involve you, Watson,” Herbert vowed. “That is the least you could do for your previous actions.”
Logan gritted angrily, his fist clenched, “I stopped what I started Herbert.”
“That knocked me out as well, Watson,” Herbert retorted. He thought he could manage on his own, but he couldn't reach the same heights Logan did, and he craved that power and respect ever since Logan left.
