Jake's eyeballs lit up, and he replied, "Do you remember?" Jake seemed to be looking really pleased. "Am I a sweet, feminine woman, but I become the opposite in war?" I asked again. "Exactly. Do you remember who you are, Jane?" he asked. "No. These are all stories of Jane Evelyn, the main character in a novel I wrote. Now, I'm sure of my assumptions and guesses. This place shouldn't exist in the real world. Am I entering a fantasy world?"

Valeria was a kingdom of breathtaking splendor-a land of rolling emerald hills, sparkling rivers, and a towering castle that pierced the sky like a shard of silver. It was also a kingdom ruled by fear and whispers, much of it attributed to its sharp-tongued, unrelenting, and ruthlessly ambitious princess, Lady Daphne Vasquez.

The night Cassian Arden met Seraphina Laurent. The night Elena Vale became the villainess. Her fingers curled tightly around the edge of the table. Because she remembered. Every chapter. Every humiliation. Every death flag. She wasn’t in her world anymore. She was inside a novel. A bestselling romance story she once read during chemotherapy nights before everything went dark. And she had become the character everyone hated. Elena Vale. The obsessive fiancée. The “villainess who burns at the end.” Her legs weakened. She almost laughed.

I blinked my eyes as a code to send them in. "Who says Rio owns this company?" Asked aunt Jane, uncle Rio's first wife, wallowing in, followed by Mr Ridwan Singgih, our lawyer. The woman sitting in front of me started in shock at aunt Jane's speech. "Who are you? Why don't you just go along with it if you don't know what's going on?!" She furiously snapped at aunty Jane. "I am Janetta Theresia's first wife and lawful wife of Mario Vivaldi Chow." Answer aunt Jane while standing next to me.

Not long after, a loud raspy voice vibrates into the room. "Yuan Zi Yan!" Xiu Ying enters the room with two others. A middle aged lady enters the room furiously, followed by an older man. Yuan Zi Yan? What's with the name similarities? I swear I have used these names for my novel before. In fact, I chose that name specifically for the villainess in my story. The beautiful lady from earlier, who I assume is my younger sister, backs up from the scene. After putting on a melancholic expression, she rests besides Xiu Ying.

He said, monotone. "My turn already? You share just a bit things." I protest. He rolled his eyes. "Nothing special happen in my life yet so that's all." I ambushed him with a fist, he flinch a bit. "Whatever. Catalina Irish Elizabeth Collin De Villa. I'm turning 21 this year and i have no plans on celebrating it. I have two brothers, i assumed you know them. Also some of my cousin knows you and you probably knows them too, right?"

It seemed old, it seemed to be some kind of notebook with very old writing to it, as if it has been months since it was last updated in regards of the contents. Crystal gingerly took the book in her hands, slightly glancing over by the door and listening around to ensure that the woman would not suddenly return and catch her snooping on something private. Well, blame the book for sticking out in such an obvious place then. She opened the notebook, skimming through the contents with her immersive reading speed. It took her only a few seconds to realize that this was no ordinary notebook. This was one heck of a diary written by the one and only, Harold Villanueva.

Villin’s arm. While Mrs. Villin holds her hand and forced it to let go. She holds Jane’s shoulders and told her, “Tell Bria that I love her so much. And I will never leave her alone. Now, go! Go away! Don’t you dare look back, Jane!” She made Jane turn around and push her that made Jane run on her feet. She runs as fast as she can against her will. She was crying so much, she wants to go back and save Mrs. Villin but she heard her screams to never look back. As she felt exhausted, she immediately get her phone and call the police. But as soon as the police arrived at the place, it was too late. Mrs. Villin was unconsciously lying on the ground flooded with blood and her things were missing.

Nothing about it was fair any more. These past few years Jane had begun to accept the fact that she wasn't one of the Waleskis. And she had started writing a book called the Unfair Life of Jane, Plain, and Short. It wasn't a real book, just a list of experiences and even that made Jane wonder whether the universe had something in the particular against her. For example:

The evil one yelled impatiently, tired of Janice slow-reveal. Vivian face-palms herself sighing loudly... "She means. I didn't take the book. Instead I was making use of your pen." "Those two weeks you thought I was using to watch you closely and pick the perfect time to steal the book, I was actually using it to write a novel. And you were featured in it." Vivian breathes out as she came to a stop. "You should also know the book ends with you dying." Vivian added with ease.
