"I'll prove to you that I can be the perfect wife." Levi looks down at the counter. The remains of burnt bread, the pile of scrambled eggs with the shell and the remaining orange juice. "And that will be your breakfast," he says, pointing to the counter. "In my house, we don't waste food." Summer nods once. I look at her, feeling pity for this little girl. After one last kiss and thanking me for breakfast, Levi leaves. "If you want, I can help you clean up..." I offer Summer. She stands up and moves away.

Levi greeted him cheerfully as he sat on the sofa, drinking alcohol. Benji bowed his head and nervously fidgeted with his hands. “D-Don L-Levi…” Levi grinned and set his glass down on the table. “Looks like you didn’t destroy Ana,” he said. Benji suddenly knelt down and trembled in front of Levi. “I-I don’t want to do it anymore, Don Levi! I-I can’t do it anymore!” He pleaded. Levi chuckled and laughed. “You know what I do to people who back out of my orders.”

Levi covered her with his body and stared the man down; he returned the favour by staring at him as well. "I guess we have to let you go. We do not hire creeps who do not know when to stop and how to take no for an answer. Who knows what the hell you could do if I were not here?" Levi said. Lila gasped as she realised that this man was about to lose his job. She wondered if Levi would fight for his other models like this, and then she made peace with herself, saying that he was doing this because she was working for him and there was nothing more to it.

Ruby said sweetly—although it was obvious she didn’t mean it—stepping down the steps with her usual swish of perfect blonde hair. Even in the middle of all this pain and suffering, she’d found the time to clean up and look flawless. Almost like the battle hadn’t affected her. But I was in those tunnels with her, I saw firsthand how worried she was so I knew this was all a façade. “Levi, we need you in the east wing. Julian asked for you. Something about securing the borders again.” Levi stood immediately, brushing off his pants. “I’ll be there in five.”

She questioned with a raised brow, inspecting his body for any bruises but she found none. "She rejected me again," Levi uttered in a cold tone as he dragged his feet towards his room. He needed some time alone to rethink everything. "Father Was right," he said to Akeelah who was watching him from above once he had settled in bed. The eagle moved her head several time trying to understand what he was saying, "Yh, she chose a rich king over a gardener, so much for a happy ending," Levi grumbled. "Soup?" Janet opened the door half way after knocking, letting her head peek into the room so she could speak to Levi.

Levi growls possessively when I walk out in my bathing suit, coverup, and flipflops. “Look at my sexy mate,” he says. Since he’s only wearing swim trunks, I struggle to respond. Sexy mate indeed. He chuckles, leaning down to kiss me. “Come on. My mate’s polar bear side wants to go swimming.” We all get in the elevator and I look at Levi. “So, where is my apartment compared to yours?” He grins at me. “Right next door.” “Really?” Of course I’ve been to Levi’s apartment. He wanted to show it to me the moment he started working for Holstin Enterprises. “Wait. You said you talked to Alpha Liam. Did you ask him about giving me a job?”

I whispered, “Thank you for doing that. You didn’t have to.” “I did have to,” Levi replied, “I don’t want you to feel alone, Aviva. I know it got hard after your dad's death and all that, so i couldn't stay still," " That's why you sent my mom cash" I asked and Levi was shocked. " I know about it, I acted like I didn't so I won't make her feel weird. Thanks" " Huh,about the job, it got approved no need for an interview, you just need to get to work on monday, i'll send someone to meet you at the door and put you through"

Levi asked as he raised his head to see that she was still there. "l apologize, if you find me strange but, having another caretaker cannot happen because I have been assigned to be your caretaker and you can't change that because we do not have very much caretaker over here. That is why I said it is a privilege not everyone can enjoy". Levi didn't look at her and he kept doing what he was doing on the notepad. "Then get me your superiors. I want to see the chairman right now." He stated in a very calm voice that one wouldn't even know if he was mad or irritated. He sounded too calm compare to his words

She said, and Avery smiled. “Thanks, Mrs. Lieberman.” She said in excitement as she exchanged glances with Amber. Mrs. Lieberman nodded and walked back into her office, while Avery walked toward Amber in excitement. “You scoundrel!” Casey cursed as she glared at Jonah, who stared at her indifferently. “I’m sorry, Casey, now you’ve gotten a new position, Janitor Cass.” He said and walked off while Casey glared at them, as she mumbled inaudibly and walked off with the bucket and mop.

The silence and awkwardness was still in the air but I pretended like everything was normal and turned to the man who I had no clue of. “I don't believe I have seen you before" I murmured and the man smiled. His smile alone was enough to get rid of the awkwardness in the air. “I'm Mr Medici's butler and babysitter" I furrowed my eyebrows while the rest began to chuckle besides Levi who had a scowl on his face. “Can you stop telling people you are my babysitter?" Levi muttered and the man smiled then shook his head. “But it's the truth, isn't it? You should hear about the time Levi pooped his pants because…"
