**Quinn's POV** "Ouch." I winced every time the mask made contact with my cheeks or lips. However, no matter what, I still had to go to work even with a bruised face. To cover it up, I put on a second layer of mask. Thankfully the minimarket where I work allows me to wear it after I've given a reason I’m catching a cold. But the problem now is, I have to work at the S-T Arena, where the Frost Maple ice hockey athletes practice. I absolutely couldn't claim to have a cold or I'd get kicked out because they'd be afraid I might spread it to them.

His shirt was shiny silver and he wore tinted blue glasses like he was some kind of Y2K pop star. "There's my favorite pumpkin!" Jason grinned while pulling me into a side hug. "You look like a Bratz doll, pumpkin. In the best way." I laughed while shaking my head. "Jason, you're literally glowing. That shirt is blinding."

He is a big fan of piercings, jewelry, and tattoos. Even though his clothes are hiding most of his tattoos, his neck is fully covered with tattoos giving him a sexy look. I wonder why he wears rings on all his fingers. The piercings and jewelry are such an inconvenience when one tries to shift into a wolf. I guess he doesn’t care about spending some more time

"So he is dead," I said, looking at her as if to see if she felt sad by the news of Jason's death, but her face was giving nothing away.
