God, I love these two. I tucked her in and Tara was asleep ten minutes into the storytime, that's when I left her and took the baby monitor with me. When I entered the bedroom, Jasper was sitting in his grey sweatpants and nothing else. He was resting his back on the headboard while typing away on his laptop. The man looked buff for a paralegal, hell...even for a criminal lawyer. I realized that still, after all of these months, I can't get enough of his body.

Once I was up, I hurriedly grabbed the book that Lydia had brought, placed it in my bag, and made my way to the garden. I walked, further than I had hoped, and saw Jasper sitting in the gazebo. ”Hey,” he said with a bright smile. He was wearing a pair of shorts and a hoodie. His muscles were bulging as he raised his arm to wave at me. ”Hi, sorry I'm late, I fell asleep,” Jasper chuckled and shook his head. ”No problem. I've never been here before, it’s nice,” he said and looked out over the lake. ”Yeah, it’s one of my favorite spots,”

I just want this tension between us to disappear. "We are safe now," I hear him say. My eyes open, but it doesn't make much difference. "We are," I reply, and it is as if those words give me the satisfaction to finally fall asleep. I don't know how much sleep I got before I was stirred from my slumber. From the bleariness of sleep, I tilted my head back enough to see Jasper standing at the window. Moonlight doused his skin, making it glow magically. He is dressed from head to toe in a black suit. He looks handsome, from what I can see. I know he can read my mind right now, but it is as if he isn't he looks distracted, as he pulls black latex gloves over his hands.

I ignore the staring and head toward an empty seat near the middle. Today my goals are to survive class, avoid magical disasters, and absolutely not think about Asher Nightblade’s mouth. That sounds simple right? Healthy, manageable goals. “Little nightmare.” My entire body stills instantly. That voice is as smooth as silk wrapping around me. I turn slowly, and there he is. Jasper Ashwyck lounges against the seat beside mine like he belongs there. Today his silver hair falls messily across his forehead, almost glowing beneath the classroom lights. Dark tattoos disappear beneath the open collar of his black shirt while unnaturally blue eyes watch me with open amusement. Beautiful. Annoyingly

Craig said proudly. Lana spoke without looking up. “Craig, if you don’t have work to do, I can find something for you. We love you both together, just not when the sexual tension is still so much.” Craig immediately sat up straighter. “I’m suddenly very busy, thank you very much.” Victoria smirked. “Amazing recovery.” The moment the clock struck 4 o'clock, Craig was the first one to stand up, cracking all the bones in his body. “Finally! I will see you witches tomorrow, hopefully.” He said, stuffing his laptop in his bag and strutting off as he whistled ‘Oh happy day' and occasionally threw a step or two.
