"Jay why can't you bring whatever that is to the living room?" He grumbled, still sitting down. When Jay didn't answer him, he stood up and followed me.

Daniel: when you killed my family, I was there hiding but one of your men came and stabbed me in the stomach. He thought I died so he left but I was alive and breathing. Daniel sat at his desk, engrossed in his work, when he noticed Zayn rushing towards him. With a playful grin, Daniel decided to lighten the mood, teasing Zayn as he approached. "Ah, Zayn, my friend it's been long, did you finally miss me?" Daniel greeted him with mock surprise, Zayn sighed, "Danny, is it the time for joking?" "Then what else, even when I called you, you're so busy to answer it" Daniel rolled his eyes, Zayn sat on the chair, "I'm here to talk about an important matter dude."

“What are you talking about, Daniel? Xander is my husband, and I love him.” Daniel smirked. “Oh, come on. Don’t you think you deserve better? Someone like me, perhaps? I can guarantee I’m better in bed than Xander. Why don’t you give me a chance? Besides, his mother seduced my father, I could do the same to you and make you mine.” I scoffed. “You think I’m cheap? Go wear something decent and stop showing your body off. This isn’t a stripper show. Stop this madness.” “Or what?” He got close to me.

I said and Daniel’s father smiled for the first time since we entered his office. “Did I mention you would make a good match for my son, Aria?” he teased me. “You mean like marrying him? That would be a first. He doesn’t even want to see me,” I replied and my father smiled. “Come to think of it, that’s not a bad idea,” Daniel’s father retorted, leaving me dumbfounded. I blushed and left the room. I could hear Alpha Jackson’s laughter following me down the corridor. I reached the training grounds and found Daniel sparring with Darius. When Darius saw me, he smiled, wiping the sweat off his face. When Daniel turned to see what had caught Darius’s attention our eyes met, and he seemed angry.

Jack nodded and he took his seat on the other side of the table. "I am Daniel. Daniel Stephen. I am from Sports Major 2nd year". He introduced himself. He was cute with chubby cheeks. He was a few centimeters taller than him, but leaner than him. He had golden skin, a bit tan than his pale white. And his eyes… Warm chocolate guarded by thick eye brows. He was handsomely beautiful. "I am Jack Charles. I am doing my PHD in Business Management final semester". Jack leaned back in his chair shutting down his laptop with the research papers.

Jay didn’t respond, He looked at Daniel, then at me, before saying, “I’ll be in my room.” He then turned and walked away, leaving Daniel standing there with his hand still extended. I swallowed hard, unsure whether to scold Jay for his rudeness or not. Daniel cleared his throat awkwardly and let his hand drop. “He’s grown up a lot since the last time I saw him.” I nodded, my heart racing. “Yeah, he has.” *********** Daniel That spoiled brat! Argh!!! I feel like squeezing a life out of him. I forced myself to smile as I watched Jay leave disrespectfully, leaving my hand hanging awkwardly in the air, waiting for a handshake that never came.

Daniel asks confused holding my hand. "I'm sorry, Daniel, but I can't go back inside, you can have your dinner with your friend." She cried desperately wanting to leave. "What!" Inside the restaurant, Jay was shocked because he didn't think he would see Dana here. It brings back the pain again seeing them together. He just drank some water and looked outside where they were. He could see Daniel comforting her, he hugged and kissed her forehead after they talked. He smiled bitterly and drank the water in his glass before leaving the restaurant quietly. He passes through the back door so he won't see them again.

Jaxon turned his attention back to me, his expression unreadable. “Riley,” he began, his voice softer now but still holding that authoritative edge, “we need to talk.” “I don’t think we do,” I replied curtly, crossing my arms over my chest. Jaxon exhaled sharply, running a hand through his dark hair. “I know what you saw, and I need you to understand—” “What is there to understand?” I snapped, cutting him off. “You were kissing him. It’s not rocket science.” “It’s not what you think,” Jaxon insisted, his tone growing more frustrated. “Daniel showed up unannounced. I had no idea he was coming to New York, let alone my office.”
