Jack slurred as he looked up at me with his completely dark and dilated eyes. "Did you win?" I asked, trying to act as if I didn't just invade his sense of privacy. "I fuckking killed them."

Her head was aching badly and her eyesight was foggy as she struggled to sit up. She placed her right fingers on her head and massaged her temple while trying to figure out where she was.

His hair was a mess. Jack looked up slowly, weak and tired. Part of his face was bruised, as if he had taken a heavy blow. His lip was split, with dried blood at the corner of his mouth. But his eyes… the same eyes that were full of life yesterday now looked empty, like his soul had been left somewhere else. "Jack..." I whispered. I was still standing in the doorway. My steps slowly moved forward. The closer I got, the heavier the guilt became. I glanced quickly at David, but he was still standing behind me.

He whimpered in pain with his eyes closed. Why did he come back to this state? I looked around. Not only my pack members, but the Celestial Dawn pack members were also focusing their attention on me. I move my neck from side to side and show him the marks. Jack's face pales and he swallows with a nod, "lets just get this done so I can go back to my pack." After shifting into our wolves, we start circling. Jack is a big black wolf with a white flash across his tail, and piercing blue eyes; not beautiful, but freaky. It doesn't go with his wolf or his nature.
