he wiggled his brow “What do they need space for?” I furrowed my brows, confused. “They're mates dolls, they need to iron things out. More time together seems to be doing the trick” “What!!” “Mates!!! When? How! That's great news, Kaden is cute, they're a perfect match” Eros's eyes darkened, “you think Kaden is cute?” He pouted. Sergio, not one to let such comments slide, responded with a hint of amusement, "Get your own mate, Jake. Perhaps that's when I'll take your opinions on my love life more seriously." Jake, never one to back down from banter, replied with a mischievous tone, "Nah, I'm good, Sergio. I don't even know if a useless dude like me deserves a mate." His self-deprecating remark drew a small giggle from me, softening the edges of the conversation.

Miranda?" one of them, whom I recognized as Orion, asked with a hint of shock in his voice. "Not only that, she is also our mate," Oliver responded, scoffing. She looked at each one of them and could not understand what they were trying to get stronger for. Most of them had no mates as the pack had a fear of weakness, so anyone with the potential for causing weakness in the pack was put away, that is banished; those who had mates were mated to equally strong women in the pack and had no cubs needing their protection and most of this mating were not even the ones blessed by the moon goddess so they had no fatal attraction. So why be obsessed with getting stronger every day?

I was mentally rambling because voicing it would probably either insult or worry my mates. Mates a word werewolves use to describe their significant other.
