Henry pov. For quite a while, I haven't laid eyes on Sierra, and my concern has been growing, not knowing if she's doing okay. The uncertainty about William troubles me deeply; I can't fathom what might be wrong with him, and at times, I feel this urge to confront him. Sierra, I know, is going through a tough time, and witnessing her treated as if she's nobody pains me as well. Cornelius stopped me. “Why didn’t you come to me then?” I shook my head. “I thought about it, but I never wanted to put you and your family in danger.” He seemed satisfied with that answer so I continued. “I eventually was out of options so I went to someone I thought could help me. I went to Michael Scott. He was responsible for Carter’s death, but he also had a good reason for it. The night Carter died one of Mike’s men had let me go, so I felt they might be able to help. Mike called Jensen to come from New York to help. Jensen was the one that let me go that night, but at first, he hated me because Carter was responsible for his fiance’s death.”

O'Connell had claimed he didn't know him, and had not heard of his name, before he hung up. This had been really heartbreaking for Jeremy. Because he still loved O'Connell very much, and thought O'Connell too still loved him. Jeremy thought O'Connell had passed his West African Examination Council, and would finally be free and not be under his parents control anymore. Little did he know that O'Connell had failed maths and was to stay home for a year to be tutored.
