The Heaven Hill Series

The Heaven Hill Series

"Sure, Jagger knows I'm going, so I'll tell him to tell Layne too." Jessica hopped up from the table, grabbing her notebook and her coffee as she did so. Quickly, she made her way back to her room and hid the notebook with the others. On second thought, she made a note on the pages of the book to ask Bianca about some of the stories from her strip club days. There had to be an erotic romance in there somewhere. Ten minutes later, she had run a brush through her hair, applied some light makeup, and put on a pair of jeans and a thin t-shirt. As she left the room, she grabbed her wristlet that she used to keep her money and pertinent cards in before walking back to the main room. Meredith and B

One of the best books I ever read! The plot and twist, the love story of each couple and all the family drama. Thankful that this series compiled in one book so I can read it all. Long read but it's really worth it! I seldom post comments but I can't help it. Keep writing awesome stories, Author!!!

I’m on chapter and I’m already HOOKED. It’s definitely different than other novels I’ve read and it gives me a sense of more maturity (if that makes any sense). Will come back with an update the more I go alone

Best Friend Tried to Ruin Me, So I Sent Her to Prison

Best Friend Tried to Ruin Me, So I Sent Her to Prison

"Jessica, your personal writing is your right. As long as it doesn't interfere with your job here, the company has no authority to interfere—and we wouldn't want to." "I just looked at some of your work. It's very well written. We're lucky to have someone with your creativity on the team." I finally let myself exhale. "Thank you." She stood and extended her hand. "Welcome to the team, Jessica. I hope this won't affect you. We're looking forward to your work in your new role." "Thank you. I won't let you down." Walking out of Emily's office, my steps felt lighter. J. Nova is a thriller author I've loved for years, which is why I kept that figurine. Casey had actually asked me my pen name befo

BECOMING CARA

BECOMING CARA

With trembling hands, she opened the locker to grab her books . but something inside caught her attention. An envelope. White. Clean. Carefully placed. She slowly pulled it out… and the moment she saw the writing, her blood ran cold. The words were written in dark, dried blood-red letters: I KNOW WHAT YOU DID CARA JOHNSON. Sara’s eyes widened in horror.

It feels like I lost the inspiration even to want to write books in the first place. "Well, that’s why we’re here. You need to be able to let loose and live life to the fullest to have these authentic feelings. So just let go and relax. I’m going to be by your side-" Jessica's reassurance is interrupted by a text. She takes out her phone to see what the text was about. She looks up and has a face full of guilt. "I’m sorry, Christine, but I have to get something. I’ll be right back, and if I’m not, then I’ll text you," Jessica stood and leaves me by myself.

she sighed, "it's okay. I'm a little bored with weather all the time, though. I've sort of started looking at postings for producer positions in news." "Really? I thought you were happy where you are." Cara shrugged. "I don't know. I think I'd like to write some more exciting stories. In-depth investigations, hard news, politics, that sort of thing. And moving on from Atlanta wouldn't suck." Jessi pursed her lips. "What does Trevor think about moving?" Cara slugged back the remainder of her glass of wine. "Doesn't matter what Trevor thinks. We broke up a couple of weeks ago."

Substitute Bride,Substitute Love

Substitute Bride,Substitute Love

I hoped that she could get better one day. Jessica looked at me attentively with her hands hanging in the air. I didn't know what she was going to do. After a while, she suddenly said, "No, you are not Charlotte. Charlotte and Caroline are both dead." I didn't expect that Jessica would know this! I straightened up and looked at Jessica, intending to say something. All of a sudden, Jessica sat down on the ground and muttered to herself, "They took both Charlotte and Caroline away and killed them. They are bad people. They are bad people..."

Marry my best friend

Marry my best friend

I thought this was a venting session. This was so like her though straight to the point Jessica was the only daughter of 4 children. Her brothers were misogynistic narcissists. So she had a hard time at work because of her brothers. We would FaceTime and talk trash about her brothers. “You’re serious?” I asked, her brow raised with a mix of amusement and curiosity. “Completely,” Jessie replied. “I trust you. I want it to feel modern but still warm and personal. Something different from all the copy-paste places out there. I know you can help bring that to life.”

Without a doubt, Jessica knew who she was. At the time, she was envious of Elisa’s entitlement to go after Zachary. “Is that you, Ms. Stone?” Jessica asked. Elisa lifted her chin high. “Who are you?” “It’s really you, Ms. Stone. I’m Jessica Yates, the secretary to the manager of Waltham Electronics.” Jessica excitedly whipped out her business card and handed one to Elisa. Without putting her hand out, Elisa uttered in disdain, “You’re the homewrecker who destroyed Liberty’s marriage. Don’t give me any business cards because I only accept them from decent human beings, not floozies.”

he said, his tone gentle but firm. Iris hesitated, then sighed. “Jessica,” she admitted. “She… said some things.” Carter frowned. “What things?” “She called me a nobody,” Iris said, her voice barely above a whisper. “Said I’m not your type. That I’m out of my league.” Carter’s jaw tightened, but he forced a smile. “Jessica’s always had a way of overstaying her relevance,” he said lightly. Iris looked at him, surprised by his calmness.

Nightmares Chasing

Nightmares Chasing

She took one and unwrapped it before she made her way to the room’s door. Jess had not run into anybody yet, but the bigger problem is she had no idea where she was and how to get out of her. As she made it down the hall, two voices could be heard, Jess turned the first doorknob she could find and run into the room. She softly closed the door and pressed herself against the wall hoping that now one could see her through the glass part of the door. When she heard the voices start to become distant, she left out a breath she was holding in. Jessica took a step away from the wall and moved deeper into the room. It was clearly an office. The walls were lined with books, most had medical terms al
