The second Icen Clayton Blackstone stepped into the room, Ember Heart knew he was trouble spelled in thick capital letters. His name had always been associated with scandal, and he had a lengthy history of affairs known to last for a month or less, thus earning him the name ‘Heartless Prince,’ and even worse, ‘Heart Ripper’. Yet, none of the articles she read had ever cautioned her about his magnetic sexual allure. Ember had seen drop-dead gorgeous men at the party, but there was something about Icen that compelled her to give him a second look even though he wore a masquerade mask.

“Why are you so heartless?” He murmured the words, almost incoherently. But Heidi heard it loud and clear, and those words just so happened to stir many emotions inside her heart. Damnit! Why did he call her heartless when he was the most heartless man on earth? Heidi didn't know that she'd been holding her stomach until she felt the presence of the child inside her. At the same time he said the word ‘heartless’, her stomach turned strangely. “If it's about what happened with Tracy, I've told you it was a mistake. Won't you believe me, Heidi? How could I forget he won me to make my life a living hell? He’ll do whatever he feels like to do with my body. He will be more pleased watching me break with every breath I take in pain. And there is no one for me to save me from his torture which he always calls it as his love. And what would you name it? Maybe, ‘His Heartless Love'. “Too late, Angel.” His voice was heavy with cruel determination as the leather crop sliced through the thick silence and licked across my flushed flesh.

I said. " Jonathan is not like the other alphas. he is brutal and he is heartless but he is not without mercy, which is why we are still alive today and which is why he is still keeping you alive." she said. "Just do what he asked so that you can be free again. " She continued to say. " where was his mercy when he chopped off our father's head and took his place as the crescent moon Alpha even if he is not of the Crescent bloodline? what mercy did he give me when he lock me in this cold, dark room with no food for weeks on end?

I sigh and seat. Tagan how can you steal my heart without my notice?

I began to cry more as his word stabs me like a knife, going deeper and deeper every time those words repeat themselves in my head. He stood there with a straight face and told me that I meant nothing to him. How can he be so heartless? How could he say those things to me? He's right, I Don't know him and he Don't know me, but that pull and attraction that I feel towards him is something that's hard to simply just ignore. But for him, it's like he feels nothing. He seems empty and heartless inside. Maybe that's why he has been marked as a dishonorable male because he's a heartless monster. He cares about nothing and no one.
