As always with my books, there will be ups and downs, bumps in the road, mysteries to be solved, plenty of spice, and a guaranteed HEA. Sage is a bit different from my other characters in that she's lived a very sheltered life and, apart from the cruelties she's suffered, is completely innocent. For that reason, her story will be more of a slower burn, but I promise to turn up the heat with no looking back when the time is right!

His action made my back crash to his dominating figure, as his grip gutted tighter on my waist, urging me to bite on my lower lip. “Get to the car” he mumbled to my hearing while he sent glares at Xavier.

Her fingers curl around her coat. Her breathing changes. “But here’s the thing,” Maya continues, her voice dropping, losing its playfulness. “My girl Sage has zero interest in ruining your perfect, fake life.” I glance at Theo, making sure he is still asleep, he seems so Peaceful and Unbothered. “So she told Andre Theo isn’t his,” Maya says, shrugging. “Because Sage is kind like that.”

Sage melted into it, one hand fisting the front of Jules’s tank top like she needed something to hold on to. When they broke apart, Sage’s lips were swollen and shiny. She looked dazed. Nova’s voice was lower now, almost husky. “Your turn, Sage. Truth or dare.” Sage didn’t even pause. “Dare.” Nova glanced at me, then back to Sage. “Kiss her.” She nodded toward me. “Same way Jules just kissed you.” My stomach flipped. Heat pooled low and sudden between my legs. Sage stepped toward me, eyes wide and dark, the firelight catching on the tiny silver hoop in her nose. She smelled like the lavender lotion she always used. Her fingers brushed my wrist first, hesitant, asking, before she rose up on h

and firmly clung to him. Zixuan and Sage’s reheated eyes square each other. Both are of Beta bloodline. Sage would be stronger based on his second-in-command rank. Yet, Zixuan does not show any fear of his opponent. In my opinion, this was a jealousy brawl. Was this Preya's new boyfriend? I shall surely find out later. Knowingly, Heron sighs. “Sage,” Heron pipes down his friend, “Today is my birthday. Everyone is here to have fun. Let it go.”

His body is too weak, his vision is zoning in and out of focus, and breathing is only becoming harder. Xander laughs maniacally. “Don’t bother fighting. You’ve got nowhere else to go. You’ve got no alpha to protect you anymore. You’re mine now, Sage. Just mine.” Sage doesn't see the hit from the alpha before his fist lands hard on his face. He falls back, but Xander grabs him and throws him over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. “Let me go, you disgusting pig.” Sage groans, kicking weakly, but he can barely move.

Sage pulled Emily into a hug. Sage was a small woman, with her shoulder-length brunette hair and gigantic boobs she looked hot as hell. Maybe spending time without Maddy won't be that bad. Jes stared at Sage and it seems like she might have found her spirit animal in Sage. All she needs now is to write a new bucket list that she's going to fill with Sage. "You got to be kidding me, Emily." Maddy grunted. Jes had an evil smile on her face. Emily pulled back from the hug and gave Maddy a warning look.

“Come here and kneel by my side.” Aurora sniffed me hard and happily went to kneel by Sage. “I will get on with it, Kieran but at my own pace. I want to drag out the torture.” Sage replied. “The more time we you waste, the more trouble brews back at Silver Crest.” I urged. Sage smiled. “Time works differently here, Kieran, by the time we return to Silver Crest, no one would even notice we were gone.” She revealed. “Stand up, the both of you,” she said and both Aurora and Madame X got to their feet. Sage stood up last and began to undress herself before my eyes.
