Halfway through, my heart was already racing in my chest and I looked over to find him staring at the screen with a blank face. A jump scare came and he didn't even seem fazed. "Landon, the point of a Scary Movie is to actually get scared." I told him, getting up once it was over. Rolling his eyes, he got up as well and went over to my closet, taking a fresh towel.

I shook my head and forced myself to look at the screen. The movie was messed up and it was definitely not the relaxing distraction I had hoped for. It was about a group of friends whose car broke down in the middle of nowhere. They ended up being hunted by creepy, disfigured creatures. It was gory, bloody and chaotic. I let out a loud scream during one of the scenes, clutching my blanket to my chest. It had caught me completely off guard. I turned to Fiona, expecting her to be just as scared, maybe even scream louder than me but there was nothing from her.

He scrolls through the horror movies, passing several that I have seen and lands on one I have never heard of. A movie called Don't Look Back Now. I was scared after I saw that guy rolling down the stairs. I couldn’t stop myself from following them down and after seeing him shot right on his head pierced and the blood bleeding all over the place I couldn’t stop myself from screaming. That was the most scariest scene that I had ever seen in my whole life. I didn’t want to do that. I didn’t want to scream but the reflex action that took place at that time made me tremble and horrified in a way that I just couldn’t explain myself.

Cassandra's POV "I'm sure the tickets will sell out fast. We're all eager to see the movie," I chuckled, acknowledging the excitement in the air. Despite my amusement, I couldn't help but feel frustrated with my friend's insensitivity. He refused to admit that the horror movie we were about to watch terrified him to the core. He had only watched it once, and since then, he had been plagued by the feeling of ghosts lurking in every corner.
