Pen & Passion
I teased, "if you’re not scared, then let’s watch horror."
Joaquin sighed but relented. "Alright, horror it is." He bought the tickets, and we headed into the theater, armed with a large bucket of popcorn.
As the movie started, it wasted no time in delivering a jump scare. Joaquin jolted slightly in his seat, and I stifled a laugh. He shot me a look and muttered, "I was just adjusting myself."
"Whatever you say," I replied, playfully rolling my eyes at him.
We settled in to watch the movie, the tension building with each eerie scene. I could feel my heart racing, but I loved every moment of it. The occasional jump scares kept me on edge, and I could tell Joaquin was trying to stay composed.
