When the screen showed the child, covered in blood and clutching a knife, hunting the terrified old woman, I gasped aloud despite myself. “OMG!” I whispered in shock, my voice breaking the silent dark. Travis glanced at me, eyebrow raised, but said nothing. Instead, he slid a little closer, his arm brushing mine.

It seems that she found courage after what she told.
