I shook the thought away and silently went to stand behind his back. He was sitting on the floor with the same jigsaw puzzle I found in his storeroom a month ago. He was struggling to piece together as if it was the most difficult task in the world for him. His hands were shaking, a slight tremble in them. A sudden urge to go to him and wrap my hand around his crept up. I made my way to him and sat down right next to him, he stiffened. He cast me a sideway glance, a certain vulnerability was showing in his features.

I saw the woman secretly send a text that read, "When you get off work, buy our sweetheart a doll that's identical to Alice!" Then, she continued searching the corners of the room with Xenia. She wiped the sweat off Xenia's brow and affectionately called her "sweetheart". Children would always be children. When they couldn't find Alice, Xenia started crying. My heart ached, hoping that I could comfort her. Two angels of death appeared. Stealthily, they took a crumpled doll out of nowhere and silently placed it in a corner of the room. Then, they tapped the floor. Xenia crawled toward the sound. When she saw the doll, she giggled.

Mikael was in complete shock at her study; it was beautiful in an almost morbid, macabre way. We both took a seat next to each other on the couch while Sajida sat on the other side of her desk in her throne. She flipped a lock of hair over her shoulder and just grinned at us; she enjoyed being right. She knew I would come here. All she had to do was wait. Before Mikael and I could say anything, we both saw small shadows under a console table by the wall underneath a window. Mikael jumped slightly, but I knew what they were - the small dolls that I met the last time we were here. But to her decimal display she found the red finger marks holding her to a frightening shock. As she looked through the mirror a devilish laughter of a woman with canines out, completely black with hairs waving on all sides appeared. The rocking chair which was stationary earlier started moving now. Amara was almost into a panic attack. It wasn't her hallucination. She indeed experienced his torture and the woman in the mirror....she at once disappears.

He quickly grabbed his keys and strolled out. The bar wasn’t far away and it was too crowded for his liking. He saw his gang waiting for him outside. And his pack too. He was about to move when he got his shoulder grab. "Calm down. Let Enzo do the work first". Zee said holding his hand and he looked back at him confused. They all moved inside and there Stephen saw what he meant. Callum was hugging a girl while dancing. But what frightened Stephen was, the girl had a punctured neck. But maybe she was so intoxicated by the drugs that she didn’t notice it.

More specifically, it had morphed into an unimaginable horror. Jemma saw it clearly. Far in the distance, there was a red blaze that seemed to flare up in the darkness of the night—a fire. It was like a devil's tongue licking the night sky with terrifying arrogance. Jemma's heart raced. Each beat echoed in her ears as the horrific sight unfolded before her eyes, revealing the worst possible scenario. The fear bit deep. The terror began to engulf her, and the first thing Jemma did was retrieve Usher, who was sleeping in the crib. She checked to make sure Usher was okay and then held him tightly.

It was a scream the kind that summons every sleeping soul, begging it to awaken and witness the nightmare with her. She stumbled backward, clutching the curtain as if to draw it shut and shield her from the horrific image. But it was too late. The scene was etched in her memory: Sid, a lifeless doll, hanging in death, his head bowed, his blood soaking the seat and cascading down the stone passage like a river of hell.

The next second, the Patchwork Monster tore the man in half. He tossed the body outside casually. Just then, a crisp, bell-like voice sounded outside. “It’s after work hours, who’s so rude as to be throwing bodies around?” A young girl with three heads and eight arms appeared at the doorway. With just one look at the shop, anger filled her voice, and her hair stood on end. “Who the hell had a death wish and smashed the Number One Must-Eat shop in the entire horror game?”

“Necessary or not, that’s what’s happening.” He kept his hand on her elbow as they walked to the door, the waitress who had served them falling over herself to remind them that she hoped she would be seeing them again soon. His hand touched the soft skin of her arm. It was a fleeting touch and without intent, but her skin burned for some seconds from the contact. They began to walk, passing couples sitting outside a pub enjoying a drink, then a few shops and business premises which were closed for the night before reaching a brightly lit jazz bar. Music drifted on the air from the open door and James glanced in interestedly as they passed.

After a moment, Jorvan took out an infernal bill from his pocket. However, the money was covered in sticky blood. When it touched my skin, I went and got a rag to wipe it off. In the next second, I froze in place and dared not move. Oh no. In such horror games, only players could see blood. They could also see the actual undead nature of the ghouls. Jorvan’s lips curled into a wicked smile, revealing a mouth full of sharp teeth as he stared at me. “Who are you? Where did the original owner of this food stall go?”
