He whispered into my ear,"they are mates, that's an indication." I looked hard at him and he nodded. I grinned slightly and glanced back at the two and noticed Trevor was eyeing Ashr curiously. Oh how fun it was going to be to play cupid for the pair. The transport landed roughly and my eyes widened when the back hatch opened and I got to see the planet. It was like earth's cousin and beautiful. We climbed out and I inhaled deeply.

What in the hell is wrong with people? Nayyab thought annoyed. Everyone was out of their trance and quickly replied to Amal's greetings. He rose up from the chair to take a drink and happened to look up at the portrait of his father. His father was dressed in an immaculate black suit that hugged his features and brought his handsomeness to the fore. The lost treasure had once belonged to a now extinct pack of werewolves and had changed hands several times until it came inti the possession of his father. But a rival werewolf leader had stolen it from him and till this day it was missing. Just then a thought crossed Jaymes's mind. He looked back at his father’s portrait and finished his drink. Tomorrow, he will visit a friend. He knew he wouldn't get a warm welcome but it was worth the risk.

A few seconds later, the two broke the gaze as Primo decided to be the one to answer her. “To tell you the truth, ma’am, we’re aware of the existence of the treasure.” Primo remarked, widening Kris’ eyes in surprise. Are they seriously going to tell her the truth?! After putting him in a chokehold?! Kris looked at Primo with disbelief on his face. Primo just cast a glance at him and continued. “As well as the cost of possessing it.” Gemini listened intently, though she was surprised to know that they knew about it, too.

All his attention stayed on me. “You are safe now my treasure,” he said in that low rough voice. His thumb pressed deeper into the plush flesh of my belly and I shivered. “I burned the old hoard for us. I never want to look back. That cave was just stone and gold. You are my home now.” I swallowed hard. The memory of the flames swallowing his centuries of treasure still made my chest tight. He had given up everything for my soft chubby body and I still did not know if I could stay.
