“Course I can,” Joe said easily. He waggled his eyebrows at me. “Does this mean you’re going to finally go back to being my fun best friend, at least for the time being?” he asked.
I rolled my eyes at him. “Shut your mouth,” I said without heat. Trouble was, I could never really seem to get mad at Joe, no matter how much he teased me. I especially couldn’t right now, when I was too busy feeling blissed-out from the quickie in the back room with Audrey. And too busy thinking about all the things I wanted to do to her once I brought her back to my place.
