Their Precious Mate

Their Precious Mate

"Its, and I quote," Nathan began, walking to me while rolling his eyes. " A lightly buttered toasted bread, smoked ham and melted cheese sandwich. Of course your usual cup of lemonade. With a bowl of strawberries and green grapes, sprinkled with light sugar. He said something about you being a good girl and that you deserve a little sugar today."

I really like this book but there are several repeat chapters. Beware of that before you purchase them. It also makes it a bit difficult to read as it throws the timeline off. This needs to be fixed. The book itself is great. Timothy and is mother hen act are hilarious. He is the best beta.

Completely enjoying the refreshing relationship between the alphas and Charlotte ... Ch's 41, 42, & most of 43 are repeats (as of 6/17/24), so skip 41 & 42. End of 43 is a random snippet of a scene that I can't tell if meant to be there, but probably adds to story; from unknown perspective

Acknowledged By A Mafia Leader

Acknowledged By A Mafia Leader

Then, with a teasing lilt, “Don’t worry, I’ll be your assistant next time.” Zac chuckled softly at that. Ava’s smile widened as she slid the plate in front of him, eager to see his reaction. His eyebrows shot up in amused surprise. Canned Corned Beef Sandwich with Eggs and Croissants. She remembered asking him about his favorite meal one quiet night when they’d been cuddling, tangled up in his sheets *Tell me your favorite meal, Zac,” Ava had asked during their conversations some nights ago. “Uhmm… I think it's a croissant and canned corned beef sandwich with eggs.

Mafia’s Contract: Tormented III

Mafia’s Contract: Tormented III

He placed the tray on the zero space between us, then started gobbling down the yellow gooey food. "Everything is cheese here," I remarked with a cringe, eyeing the tiny monsters before my eyes. "Hmmm. They made a whole lot of them down there," he replied with a mouthful. I side-glared him with a plethora of mixed feelings and shifting on tectonics. One, I hated cheese, especially when it was overdosed; and Jordan had to know that by now. Two, he seemed to be enjoying the yellow poison more than anything and I couldn't bring myself to break his fun. Especially when he was smacking his lips like that and licking his fingers...

Always Finding Mr Wrong

Always Finding Mr Wrong

It would look unappetising to a starving rat, but it holds less than twenty calories. “How did it go last night?” “Fine,” he replies. “Fine?” He shrugs, “fine.” I shake my head, “Scott, this was your first proper date in years. If you think you’re going to get away with ‘fine’, you’re terribly wrong.” He grins and looks at the toaster, from which a thin stream of black smoke is pouring. The bread has been in there for seconds but already appears to have fossilised. “Do you want something more substantial?”

And gods, the desserts—pies oozing with berries, honey cakes dripping golden sweetness, and an enormous chocolate torte that practically hummed with temptation. “You’re staring at that bread like it just proposed marriage,” Tora drawled, sidling up next to her. Cheyenne didn’t bother to look guilty as she tore off a piece and stuffed it into her mouth. “Bread doesn’t argue with me. Bread doesn’t snore. Bread never leaves muddy boots in the entryway. Bread, my dear, is the perfect man.” Tora barked out a laugh. “You know Gunner’s going to hear about this, right?”

The Un-Stereotypical Life of A Prince and A Heiress

The Un-Stereotypical Life of A Prince and A Heiress

"Alright, enjoy your book club, Aunt Amy!" "Noona, Mommy agreed with it! She even gave me extra money, see!" Ecklis showed me his wallet. Oooh, thick. "That's good, did you prepare your bag already?" I asked him, "Yup! It's all good now. So eat up, I'm going to wait outside with Achilles." He showed his favorite Avengers backpack then ran off towards the doors. Cute. "My Lady, the Chef has prepared Tomato Toast with Macadamia Ricotta, Ham and Cheese Quinoa Cups, and Berry and Yoghurt Smoothie. Please, enjoy." Mr. Ambroise lifted the lid and I was very pleased. Good job, Chef. Yummy!

Panther's Pet

Panther's Pet

I held it up while inspecting it. Eden giggled. "Mini zucchini and goat cheese tarts." She shoved the tiny morsel into her mouth. I did the same, and surprisingly the taste of lemon, thyme, and Parmesan danced in harmony over my buds. "That is delicious." I glanced down at my phone, absentmindedly wiping the remnants of cheese onto my dress. Douchebag: Liar. Me: Seriously, you're texting me to start shit? Get a life, bro.

The CEO's Maid Wife

The cheese seemed to melt at his touch, ready to embrace the warmth of the pan. With a devious smile, Daniel said, "Now, it's time for the secret ingredient." He reached for a jar of pickles, its tangy aroma filling the air. He sliced them into thin rounds, carefully arranging them over the cheese. It was an unexpected twist, one that intrigued me. "What's the story behind the pickles?" I asked, genuinely curious. Daniel paused, as if pondering the question, before replying, "Well, they add a delightful tanginess to the sandwich. Plus, I have fond childhood memories of enjoying grilled cheese sandwiches with pickles. It's a little something that makes it unique. Mum made the best sandwiches

Jodie said. “I can’t believe I still see you here, without an apron and That stupid hat, are you replacing that pervert?” Jodie nodded and led me into his office. “Rosie, bring me a double cheese with pickles and grilled onions, a large cola, and fries with cheese to my office,” Jodie said to the innocent girl I met at the cashier. “Ooh, you still remember my favorite,” “How could I forget when you eat it every day, sit down, just think of it as your room,” Jodie said.

The Lost Alphas Daughter

The Lost Alphas Daughter

I chat with Gaia a little more as we eat our sandwiches. The cheese toasties here at Gail’s are the best—gooey, savory, and packed with flavor. Mine is a delicious mix of cheese, chicken, and kimchi. Gaia's is piled with salted beef, macaroni cheese, and pickles. “That’s not all,” Gaia whispers, focusing on her sandwich as a string of melted cheese hangs down to her plate. “Ansel is going to mark me.”
