All I could hope for her to be happy and never come back to this place . I got up from the park bench . The early morning sun didn't help much with the cold either. I smiled at how terrified Belle was of giving her finals . She had clung on the phone call forever to find comfort .It felt good to know that the things that scared her were as simple as that. A second later, another message followed, but this time with a video attached. In the video, Liam sat at his desk, brows furrowed, his expression looking vaguely irritated. A hand shot out, grabbed me, and yanked me inside. I gasped in shock, ready to scream, but her palm clamped over my mouth. "Shh. Don't make a sound," she hissed. Her next words made my blood run cold. "Dad and Mom have both been replaced by monsters." "What?" I stared at her, wide-eyed. "I know it's hard to believe," she said. "But I figured it out after going through the loop over and over. There's more than one monster." Her face was pale, lips quivering.

“Theo likes you.” “Theo likes everybody. That child would probably befriend a serial killer.” A small laugh escaped my lips before I covered my mouth quickly. Vanessa clicked her tongue dramatically. “And who’s feeding us, huh? Because I barely have enough money to feed myself.” “You literally spend your salary on smoke and tequila.” “And whose business is that?” “You’re unbelievable.” “No, you are.” She grumbled. “I swear if this child starts calling me mommy, I’m billing you.”
