"O my God, what did you just do?" Jamal paces in panic as he looks around the dark alley to see if anyone saw them. "Relax," Nico says as he moves his eyes from Sparks lifeless body to his friend. His hands began to shake. “What the fuck has happened?” I asked. None of them could speak. Their eyes were misty, their faces etched with shock. Artemis looked out the window. I snatched the phone from his hand and what I saw catapulted me into another shock. Alpha Jacob was lying dead on the floor, his chest blasted with a silver bullet. Someone had removed his mask. The man with the video rushed to him to drag him out, but it was apparent that Jacob had died. His body was limp and his eyes stared into emptiness.

His voice was getting frantic. Duke was not moving; his eyes were shut and his skin glistened with the first drops of rain that had come with the rumbling sky. “Duke!” Tim screamed. He had felt the panic in Jason’s voice and young as he was, he understood what that meant. Jack stood by the side, tears glimmering in his eyes.
