Joker wheezed out between his chuckles. Shooter punched him in the jaw faster than I could see and Joker's head snapped to the right. His laughter stopped in and instant and he stared at his older brother as I shifted nervously. Shooter was a hot head and violent but Joker was insane. A fight between them would be bloody and deadly. "STOP!" Pres commanded as Joker stepped towards Shooter. Joker paused and looked at his Father. "Your Brother is right. This isn't funny." Pres spat at his second son who sent him an eerie smile with blood running down his chin and mouth.

“Didn’t know you were the old lady kind, Hamill.” “Let her go.” Jax’s husky voice was even and measured, maybe too much so. “Right the fuck now.” “And if I don’t?” “You really want to find out?” “That sounds like a threat.” Joker reached into his back pocket, and now silver glinted in his hand. “I feel the need to protect myself, all of a sudden.”

Jake raising his voice made us all look at him with seriousness settled in our faces which made him shut up and calm back down. "I understand your point, Jake," Xavier started, "However, we need our Demon to escape no matter what. That's why..." He trails, waiting for Jake to realise. Jake looked down at his hand and finally got it, "That's why I have the Joker." Jake finished while putting the card down. "Exactly. You pay the part they need you to play in their plan but when it's time, you take Dominic and run. Not only will this protect her but will also protect you." I put down a two of hearts to correspond with this.

Leaving those words behind, Joker turned and walked away without looking back. However, on his way back, he suddenly felt unwell. He started coughing violently and soon tasted the metallic tang of blood in his throat. Joker's expression changed. He hadn't expected Nash to have inflicted internal injuries on him. Having come from the same rigorous training ground as Micah and been by his side for years, Joker rarely encountered anyone who could match him. The recent fight with Nash had been intense. If Micah and Nina had arrived just a minute or two later, he might have ended up as Nash's defeated opponent.

The resistance only made me push myself harder. Finally, I spit the cloth out of my mouth, and in one swift motion, I bite the Joker's shoulder so hard that his blood seems to gush right into my mouth. He howled, causing my head to buckle. The next second, I'm flying straight through the air, ribs hitting the toilet. “What the fuck is that? What the fuck? What the fuck?" Abe screams continuously while Joker continues to scream and curse. "Damn you demon!" Joker shouted. He grabs my hair, and then I hear the crackling sound of his fist hitting my face. My blood and his made me almost choke.

Spencer stormed out in a fury, his chest tight with anger. Back at Nightfall… Isolde moved with swift, decisive efficiency. She reorganized K's workstation and reassigned his duties. K sat in front of the computer, his face drained of life as he muttered to himself in despair, "Is Joker even still human? He crushed me with words alone, ground me into the dirt, and kept me there. His skill level is absurd. Do I even have a chance of beating him in this lifetime?"

He clears his throat and takes another drag and then leans forward placing his elbows on his bouncing knee. “ Another politician left a card with our patch on again. Throat slit and left out in the open this time whoever it is are wanting to make it more public now “ I grunt and roll my eyes. Just as the beast walks in his dead eyes scan the room before he takes the seat at the side of Joker. He looks at Joker's bouncing knee and the joint in his hand then rolls his eyes and looks at me. The man placed his hand on the Joker's shoulder and squeezed it, "My girlfriend causing you some trouble?" The joker just stared at the tall, dark-haired man in a bomber jacket. The two men were of the same height, the darker-haired one was a few inches taller than the Joker. He wore a black leather jacket over a black t-shirt and ripped blue jeans. His face was painted in a skull. He grinned at the Joker. "She's a handful when she's drunk, sorry if she put her hands on you by mistake."

The message on it is slightly faded but I will always know what's written on it. Batman + Robin = Forever Jace rushes over to me and places Robin on the floor. He begins to crawl around the living room, grabbing onto the couches and coffee tables for support when he tries to walk. Jace and I stare proudly. He stares at me and asks, "What are you thinking?" I just smile and reach up to kiss him. He places one hand on the wall beside my head and kisses me back. I smile against his lips. Yes, Batman and Robin will always be together.

“How...” Marcus stepped forward, his gun already aimed at Tedy's head. But before Marcus could go any further, Damian raised his hand, stopping him. “No need,” Damian said in a cold yet chilling tone. “Let him know what it means to fight us.” “You think I'm afraid to fight you, Rancid Boy?” Once again Tedy pointed the gun at Marcus, no, this time at Damian with a mocking look. “You do have a lot of guts, Joker.” Damian grinned but just as he was about to point the gun at Tedy, Marcus intervened.
