I needed to show him I wasn’t just the anxious kid. And then I saw it. Buried in the back, a relic from a long-ago, ill-advised comic-con phase. A full, vibrant, purple and green Joker shirt, complete with a garish, printed waistcoat and tie. It was definitely a statement. “Perfect,” I muttered to myself, pulling it on. I paired it with my best pair of dark jeans. I looked in the mirror. I looked cool and rebellious, right? Jax was all about breaking rules. This fit.

Tigreal challenged him. "Are you fucking stupid or what?...how the hell does a blade beat up my gun?", Trev asked angrily. "It doesn't matter whether it beats up your gun or not. It's gonna be fun beating you with it anyway!", Tig chuckled as he patted Trev on the forehead and shielth the swords in front of him. "You wanna bet? Well let's go!" Trevor roared out loud, grabbing his pistol and rushing outside the house. "It's getting late already.....and this will make it more fun. Been a while Metropolis, you'll hear about me again", Trev says as he strapped on a ludicrous mask, which makes him resemble a Joker.

"All right, I stopped over to say hi. If you would like to interact with some of the other children and get to know some of the other Justice League members present today, we have some games and puzzles set up in the playroom. Not even the Hulk or Spider-Man?Riley enquired. She gave a headshake. "Me, Batman, Superman, and the Flash." Riley released a sigh. "Well, I guess that's alright, but I really like the Marvel comics series." Wonder Woman gave Finn a fierce look as he tried to disguise his stifled laughter with a cough. Maybe The Avengers will come by next week. The Justice League has the week off.

I smirk as I watch Baby Joker scramble up into my dad’s lap, his tiny legs swingin' as he glares across at me like he owns the place. “Kid’s all you,” I mutter, pointin' at Joker with a grin. “Been teachin’ ’im the way, haven’t I?” Joker smirks, lookin' between my dad and Robyn. “Teaching him alright,” Robyn mutters with mock annoyance. “You realize he’s been drawing pink elephants—his version of them—on the wall and talking to them?”

There, the Joker frowned and tears streamed down his face. “This is you.” Rhett put the card in his hand. “You’re a fucking joker. You know that, right?” Jax turned the card over and took in the sleek design. It was thick and more of a lightweight metal that was so thin it mimicked paper. “What’s does a joker symbolize?” he asked. “You know I’m not a card player like you.”

Jake pitched in. "It's a tie so whose side are you on Alexis?" Asher asked hopefully. "You're the tie breaker." I looked around me at the four guys and couldn't help but wonder how I had become such good friends with all of them and how I was able to tolerate their stupidity. "Staying true to myself," I began, "I've got to go with the villains, because honestly who are superheroes without villains to fight? That's right, just a bunch of weirdos in tight-arse clothes and underwear outside their pants," I stated matter-of-factly. "Batman wouldn't be Batman without The Joker and Superman wouldn't be Superman without Lex Luthor."

Jaxon ignores his mum and grabs my hand. “Come on,” he says, already pulling me toward the house. “I have to show you something.” “What is it?” I ask. “My Lego.” “Of course it is.” “Come on!” He tugs harder. I glance briefly at Paige as I pass her, giving her a quick smile. “I’ll be back in a minute.” She nods, amused. “Go, before he drags you the whole way.” Too late for that. Jaxon is already hauling me inside. Leo follows us without a word. Upstairs, Jaxon practically dives into his room, immediately dropping to the floor and pointing at a Lego structure that looks far too complicated for someone his age.

In the midst of the previous attack on Arkham and the escape of some villains who had subsequently already been captured and imprisoned. He begins to crawl around the living room, grabbing onto the couches and coffee tables for support when he tries to walk. Jace and I stare proudly. He stares at me and asks, "What are you thinking?" I just smile and reach up to kiss him. He places one hand on the wall beside my head and kisses me back. I smile against his lips. Yes, Batman and Robin will always be together.

He scowled but Jake's expression remained indifferent. "Calling for backup...." He said and immediately, two battle jets flew out of the dark clouds and more soldiers jumped from them, making the battle ground with equal players. A maniacal glint flashed across Leonardo's eyes as his grin increased, enjoying the whole game. And for once, The Joker met his match! "....and control." Jake ended and pressed a similar device which made the rest of the motion sensors on the ground totally disappear. The Mob boss's evil grin uncontrollably deepened.
