"Carlos," Caesar looked at me apologetically, but I knew what he wanted to say. He always took on burdens that weren’t his.
"If you’re going to apologize for Hommes, forget it. I don’t want to hear it." I let go of his hand and took out a freshly brewed potion from my pocket, tossing it to him.
"You need it now," I said, pointing to his wound.
"Carlos," Caesar sighed deeply, holding the potion. He looked in the direction Hommes had been taken, a hint of sorrow in his eyes. "Am I really such a terrible brother?"
