But Josh waved her over, inviting her to come closer. “Come sit. I made scrambled eggs,” he said, a hint of uncertainty in his tone. “I’m not sure if they’ll be any good, but I tried adding a little cream.” Ashley returned a small smile and moved toward the tall stool by the kitchen island. She settled herself, folding her hands on the table as she watched Josh move with practiced ease around the kitchen, as if this space had been his for years. Josh carefully scooped the scrambled eggs from the pan onto a plate, arranging two pieces of sausage beside them. He handed the plate toward Ashley.

Natasha explained while sneaking a glance at Joshua. "Okay, do you need to order some new dishes now? The kitchen can make them for you free of charge." Natasha glanced at Joshua. She no longer dared to order randomly. Who knew if a dish would suddenly hit Joshua's sore spot? He should just order it himself. Seeing Natasha's gaze, Joshua lifted his chin and reluctantly spoke, "Order what you like to eat." He had been put off by Natasha's earlier words. His mind was now filled with questions about who the person was who liked to eat garlic-stuffed mushrooms. Was it Jacob after all?

On the drive she had the wine bottle in her lap, a pinot nobody would be embarrassed to bring, and a paper bag with a hardcover cookbook inside that she’d edited two years ago. The cookbook was for Estelle because, she had explained, Harrison was the cook in the house but the cookbook was for a woman. I had not corrected her assumption about Harrison being the cook. Harrison, in nine years, had never produced a meal that did not involve pasta or eggs in some configuration.

He was still ogling at his plate like hadn't seen food for half of his life. Joshua grabbed his fork and spoon and dug the fork into the beans with bacon and swirled it in the air before putting it in his mouth. The lingering smell of the food made him moan in his deep throat, taking his eyes warily to the woman who cooked this food. Joshua wanted to see if she wished to know how her food tasted. However, he found her occupied with bewilderment. Before he asked her, Julia's head moved slightly and Joshua sensed that she was about to say something, so he brought his eyes back to the plate.

Joshua pondered on it, then handed two books to Ambrose. Ambrose took them and read their titles. "Think Like A Woman" and "Women's Deepest Secrets". Ambrose looked at Joshua in confusion. "What are these?" "I bought them on the way here." Joshua pointed at the book covers and said, "These are common must-knows in dating. They are perfect for you to study. Take your time to study and understand it. "When your foundation is firm, then I can teach you more. This is the best that I can do for you!"

She was stunned and wanted to say something but the aromatic fragrance captured her attention. She looked over and discovered… There were a few delicious dishes on the table in front of her such as buffalo wings, caesar salad, steamed broccoli, and a very nicely presented cream of tomato. Luna was stunned. She looked at Joshua with surprise. "Did you buy these?" He was unhappy with that question, so he pointed at the messy kitchen and said, "I cooked them." She paused and looked into the kitchen unconsciously. Only then did she believe what Joshua said. The current situation in the kitchen suggested he had gone through plenty of work to prepare those dishes.

Chef Joshua said with much enthusiasm, “Good morning! For breakfast I made fiddlehead and bacon omelet, eggs benedict, bananas foster Belgian waffles, ratatouille grilled cheese sandwiches, the famous French toast, and for dessert we have yogurt parfait. Enjoy!” Because they all smelled so good, they were sure that the dishes were all delicious as well. Chef Joshua astounded Annika, and it appears that he prepared too much again, as if there was always a party going on. His food presentation is also excellent; he is a very skilled chef of all types of dishes. Even if you're full, you would still want to ask for seconds.
